The media could not be loaded. These lights are encased in a solid plastic marble with a crackle like finish. I got 2 sets of the warm white lights. I was able to hang one set on 3 sides of my gazebo (around 30'). I hung the 2nd set on the back wall of the gazebo in long swoops to give a curtain effect. As others have noted, they are not bright but give a soft glow and define the area. They got bounced around a lot while hanging them and they held up fine. I used tent clips to attach them by the wire to the edge of my tent gazebo. I placed the solar collectors on top of the rain gutter guard of my house. The solar collectors are not attached to the gutters in any way so I may have to figure out a way to secure them if the wind or rain dislodge them. The set comes with a mount and stake to secure the collectors in the ground if you choose to. My only wish is that they had a remote control. To change the mode you need access to the back of the solar collector. And since mine are nestled on top of my house's rain gutter guards, they're not easily accessible to change the mode or turn them off. ... show more

Listen. Sometimes I’m the most educated person in the room. Sometimes I can’t find my phone while it’s in my hand. Figuring out these lights was definitely a lost phone situation. I set them out in my greenhouse to charge but the next afternoon they still wouldn’t turn on. I thought maybe it was just because it was cloudy. No big deal. The following day was not cloudy. It was sunny and warm. Still no lights. I held them in some shade. Nothing. I figured the next day I’d ask about a refund and be sad about my misfortune. Later that evening I needed something from outside and noticed something weird in the greenhouse. It was my lights! Turns out a little bit of shade isn’t enough, but full on night and they glow like a charm. They have a perfect warm charm and there is plenty of length to cover aforementioned greenhouse. I wanted to love these lights but they're smaller than I thought and super dim. I didn't want bright lights but these were too dim for even ambient light. They're very pretty and seem sturdy but not enough light at all.
