I put this in my kitchen and it works great. I love it because I'm always leaving the kitchen light on when I'm not in there. This way it comes on when I walk in and goes out after I leave. It is a little hard to get used to the cool light of the LEDs even with the center bulb on but I will get used to it. I just ordered one to put in my bathroom for the same reason. It's a fairly new product so I hope it will last for a long time. They are great for everyday use and you're all set if the power goes out! I'm trying to run more things on solar even though I guess it's not exactly "cost effective" but it's kind of fun to run things on solar power anyway. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Highly impressed with this solar light so far. It lights up the gazebo area amazingly. I was thinking I’d likely need two to get any decent light out there but one is all I need. It has a high and low mode as well as different sensor modes. I live in the south west united states and am off grid. This light was a great solution to a very dark space. It's incredibly bright and the different settings could be helpful if I needed them at a different capacity. The solar panel isn't just flimsy plastic. It's heavy duty metal with a stand that adjusts for placement. It has screw holes to mount it. Which I should have done. One windy (70+ mph gusts) day, the solar panel was ripped from the wires and off the flat space I had placed it. It had made it a couple weeks there, just got caught this day. My husband is handy with a soldering iron and was planning to fix it. But the next day, still very windy, the light ripped off the wires. And was thrown around. None of this takes away from how great the actual product is, but I do want to forward people that wind is not your friend with this light. Make sure to place in a safe location. I will probably buy a replacement light and mount it better next time. ... show more

Installed in an 8 by 12 shed that does not have electricity. The light more than fills up the space. It is easy to see at the back of the shelves and inside bins. There was enough wire to run outside the building and to the corner of the roof. A couple of minor things that I wish was different. 1. The wire connection to the light is wider than just a standard wire. I had to drill a bigger hole to feed the wire through. 2. The solar panel bracket is large U shaped bracket which limits how to attached it to the building. I have an exterior solar light on the building it has a double pivot joint. It allowed it to be easily screwed to the trim while still be able to turn the solar panel more upright and stay tight to the shed. Despite those couple of minor things I think that this has been a great light for the shed. ... show more
