I bought this camera in April 2024. It worked okay for 1 month and then problems. When trying to view live or stored footage it says "cannot establish connection. Try again later." We are now in June and it is still saying the same thing. I have checked in the app and on Amazon and there doesn't seem to be a way to contact customer support. I have restarted the camera through the app several times and nothing. I wouldn't buy again. Update 29/6/2024 Customer service reached out to me and offered a few solutions. I had to restart my router. After that I was able to get live view and view stored clips. I still have the issue of the camera sending numerous alerts for pets and laundry outside. Aside from thise issues the camera worked fine. Solar charging works well. The customer service agent, Masie, was very professional. She advised that the matter would be relayed to their engineers to be resolved. She offered a refund in the meantime. I could also keep the camera. ... show more

I bought a high end security camera system with fixed hardwired cameras and hard drive. I was having trouble with getting a good picture of some teenagers vandelizing my home at night. I like this AUBOR camera over my much more expensive system for several reasons: This is insanely cheap for the features it has. I like that I get notifications on my apple watch and can see who is in my driveway. I can play this back for the sheriff. I can select a live shot at any time and move the camera around. It is made well. It has a battery that lasts a long time and rechargeable by solar. Gives a good picture. Easily set up. Has sound and can talk on it. The only con is that there is a learning curve and I will have to be taught by my son in how to operate some of the features effectively for this camera. With the help of this camera, I was able to enlist the help of my local sheriff and now the two teenagers who vadalized my property have amended their behavior. Two boys life direction has been reset with the help of this camera. I saw that another higher quality model of this brand is on sale so I just bought another of these cameras. At the time of this post, it is the same price paid for this camera. I have not checked out all of the features of this camera so I cannot declare how other features work, but from what I have now and can do, I love this brand. The only con is that anytime I go to get my mail or walk out the garage, this camera notifies me, but I don’t mind. I plan to get a third one to check on my dogs when I am away. ... show more

Adding this to our house has given us added peace of mind regarding security. It is a good size so that people see it and are naturally deterred from breaking in, but not so large it is detracting from the house. It has settings for what you would like it to detect and alert you to. Option to speak through a microphone and it works well, is loud and quite clear. Optional bright lights or alarm to sent off if you want to to additionally scare off intruders. Solar panel works very well where we have located it and we haven't had any problems with the battery not staying charged. The camera has a nice larger field of vision and can be adjusted to view both sides of our house very well. My only complaint would be the video quality. I wish it were a little clearer to pick up face features better. But it does well enough what we want it to do. ... show more

A slight upgrade from my lightbulb camera. It is more flexible in a sense that you have more mounting options for a better view. It is great behind the home where wiring is out of reach. I however placed it on the front above a porch. It was easy to set up. Connecticut is good when it works. I may have wifi network issue so I can’t blame the camera but I have lost connection on several occasions. Flimsy design. Cheap plastic parts. It is good value compared to higher-end units, but you get what you pay for with these things.
