I hooked it up to my outdoor WiFi security camera for its power source. The picture is taken at 7:45 pm, starting to get dark and the panel has not been exposed directly to the sun for over an hour. This panel looked great. For my purposes, it was a brick. I tried it with 3 different surveillance cameras that both work when plugged into the wall. When plugged one at a time into this panel, which was in full bright sunlight facing the sun, it failed to bring the cameras up. Plugging in there means power supply brought them up immediately. They simply weren't recognizing any power at the plug. To check whether the panel was working, I tried plugging it into my S22 cell phone, which charges on 1 amp, 5 volts. My camera indicated that it was plugged into a charger, but it never gained any charge. In fact, after an hour it had dropped its charge level. Either this panel was defective, or the polarities of the plug are not the same as those used on several cameras and a Samsung cell phone. I returned it and bought a different solar panel which was advertised as being for outdoor cameras. It didn't work on that one either. That review is elsewhere. These are all clearly manufactured by the same company, but distributed under different names. All the packaging and literature is identical between them. It's unclear whether they use a different set of pins to supply the power or whether they were both defective. I'm awaiting a fourth camera which is designed to be powered by on board batteries and charged via USB to a solar panel. ... show more

The Lybuorze SP-1 solar panel works fine..plugged it into my Lorex UA4711AA Camera and it worked fine. Took a little longer than I though to charge but it worked. Quality is on the cheap side but it works fine - we'll see for how long. The plug for the camera is not an outdoor plug but it works. I'd buy these again. ... show more
