Works great. Easy to hook up. It’s been about a month since hooking up my solar panel to the doorbell and have not needed to charge again. The panel sits where it gets morning sunrise and sun through about 2pm and then shade from then on and it’s worked great. Zero complaints. Self explanatory easy install but dont connect device right away...allow solar batteries to fully charge 24 hrs in bright sun before connecting your device and if device has Integrated battery, be sure it is nearly full charged also.

Connectivity is weird to say the least. The instructions to install arnt very strafe forward and I think for some reason you have to have it at a specific angle or it won't charge your device... This is not determined by the sun but by the angle of the panel relative... To the ground I think... Even this was confusing as there was a red light that would randomly turn green. I also thing I had it in to shady of a place to work. It just wantsnt very streat forward. And the cord is very short so if you have the doorbell at normal height and try and put this on a porch roof you don't have enought cable. It never charged my device either. It did seam very durable though. ... show more
