The detachable handle is the obvious selling point for this pot. It seems a bit expensive just to have this feature though. So far, it has been a pleasure to use overall with heating up soup, stew and other items. Cleaning has been very easy too. Note that in one picture there is a person putting the pot in a refrigerator and the pot has a cover on it. This item does not come with a cover.     • This pan should win a design award for that handle
I ordered two pans recently, this one and the Henckels Everlift (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C9VZX7FY ). While the Henckels wins for the most totally "nonstick" surface but this one wins in other areas like ingenious design and versatility. The handle of this pan is just brilliant... It's basically got a form-fitted clamp on the end which locks on the edge of the pan so securely it doesn't wiggle a bit. The rubber pads make it impossible to scratch the pan and overall it's easy to get the hang of it. It really shines taking it out of the oven and straight to a hot pad or trivet on the table where it looks excellent and keeps the food piping hot the whole meal. As i said in the beginning I found it does need a touch of oil when cooking very stick-prone foods like eggs, so I'd call it "stick-less"...but it's as easy to clean as any — a splash of water & everything slides off, no scrubbing. These pans are manufactured with precision and quality. The material is premium granite. I’ve been trying to cook healthier lately and don’t use a lot of oil while cooking. This afternoon I made homemade spaghetti sauce which simmered for over 5 hours. I cannot believe how easy the clean-up was. Nothing stuck to the pan. I’d also like to disclose I did not use any cooking spray either. This set includes a variety of sizes and the fridge covers were an added perk. The pan protectors are great too while they’re stored in my cabinet. I’m very pleased with the quality and will be purchasing another set as a gift to my elderly parents. I don't know where to start with how great this pan is. The non-stick is definitely there, I just carmelized onions and the pan cleaned up with just a spritz of Dawn and a regular cellulose sponge! It won't matter that they do not recommend placing the pan in the dishwasher, it's nothing to clean it by hand. The pan heats evenly (my stove is electric). The handle clamps on tightly and the silicone grip holds tight even when I wiggled the pan in the air to test it out. Now for one of the best parts... I was able to spoon out the contents using the high side of the pan without leaving any behind or having to touch the food with my hands or a utensil. You can't do that with a low sided pan!     • Works on induction cooktops
We have an induction stove and typically these types of nonstick cookware will not work on an induction stove. This pot heats up quickly and as expected on an induction cooktop, the metal base is well placed and over the whole pot. The handle takes a bit of trial and error, but is easy when you understand it. This pot also has one side that as a small pour spout which is nice if you are needing to pour liquids out of it. Overall, this pot works as expected and we have had no issues with it, but I wish for the price it would have come with a lid so I'm off to shop for an inexpensive universal lid. This pan is fantastic in every way but one. Firstly, I appreciate that the non-stick surface is made of granite, which is healthy and safe, unlike other non-stick surfaces. It is easy to clean. I made bacon, used it for sauces and sauteed vegetables, and each time it cleaned perfectly. My one issue and it's kind of a bummer because I don't see away around it, is that the handle, that detaches and seemed like a brilliant idea, does not seem to be made to be near heat. I left the handle on each time I used the pan because why wouldn't I? Anyway, the handle discolored from the heat, like burn marks. And I did not have the gas on high enough to touch the handle. I don't know, maybe use it without the handle and attach the handle when you finish cooking? I can't do that because I hold and sometimes move my pans while I cook, also that seems unsafe to me. I still use the pan and am happy with it, but a new pan already has burn marks from normal use. ... show more
