My wife has been wanting a smudge kit for quite some time. I was considering an abalone shell kit but found this scrying/smudge bowl instead. I'm so glad I purchased this deluxe bowl kit. The craftsmanship of the bowl we received is superb and the white sand not only helps extinguish the sage or pale santo sticks but you can also use the sand to place the pale santo stick or sage to burn in an upright position.
