Beautiful little mortar and pestle. It will be perfect for crushing herbs and salts and other things, and looks great on my altar. It is lightweight, so traveling with it will be easy too.

That's the only thing that caught me off-guard, and saying that it's even more beautiful than I had first imagined, the size is perfect for small spices or herbs, it's non porous so it's not absorbing flavors like my larger granite one, and it fits just right in the hand. I really, really do love it, there's nothing wrong with it having used it several times now, I recommend seasoning it like any other mortar and pestle because mine had a rough layer on the inside which is common, but after grinding up some white rice it's all nice, smooth, and ubiquitously colored, highly recommend, just know what you're buying, they're small, but if you need just a little cute mortar and pestle then this is your guy, A+. ... show more

Great size perfect for what I am needing. Had to cure it first because the bowl is rough when I got it. I didn't mind doing that at all. Love the colors. It was sticky when it came out of the package but just a little rince with water made the stickiness go away.

Product itself is beautiful and I love it and the seller took their Tim to properly pack the item so it would be safe. But item did arrive damaged. I’m sure it’s due to the warehouse workers I work for Amazon and I see how they handle customer packages so I don’t believe it’s the merchants fault.
