I got this for my daughter last Christmas because she loves bath bombs. This kit was easy for her to use and came with detailed instructions. She had a fun making different bath bombs and salts for everyone in the family. You can add scents and it even comes with little items to put inside the bombs. Clean up wasn’t too bad. The only thing is depending how much you use it is easy to use up in a day or two so you have to buy replacement materials. I love that this is something that involves reading comprehension and following plans for kids; no tv/tablets. Our oldest has loved this and the bath bombs did fizz and smelt great! My only critique would be that the soap and bombs do not easily come out of the molds. They tend to fall apart easily or smoosh to where the design is ruined. She still enjoys it though! ... show more

The soap & bath salts worked great, but the bath bombs didn't work at all! We tried over & over, but they never hardened up. Instead they ended up dissolving.

My daughter loves bath bombs and making crafts so this was a nice gift for her. The instructions are easy to follow and the tools and ingredients seem high quality. I appreciate the science education components. The only complaint is that some of the colors are not very vibrant. We had to use much more of the blue than states in the instructions, and it still was not vibrant in the bath bombs, although it seems to work better in the soaps and bath salts. ... show more
