The media could not be loaded. Lifelong chilly/cold feet and hands gal and live in MN. Wanted to try heated socks mainly for wearing lounging around the house and warming my feet before/during sleep. I can't sleep with cold feet. Researched many brands and decided to try both Snow Deer and Savior heated socks. These arrived first, a week before the other brand on Amazon. Turns out they are exactly the same. Likely the same manufacturer, just different brand names, but same product, function, performance to date . I'd recommend both brands-just buy the cheaper one at the time of purchase. Love them. Been using consistently for 3 months. Have washed them in a zippered bag per instructions. Work great. They warm my toes and midfoot nicely. Not aggressively, but noticeable. The highest setting "red" will auto switch to medium "white" after 5 min. This is for safety and battery life. Many times they feel very toasty and I step down to low "blue" setting. I hate wearing socks to bed, but my feet have to be warm for me to sleep. If I plan ahead, I'll warm my feet with these up to an hr before bed and then remove to sleep. Admittedly, I'm not that efficient and often put the socks on as I get into bed. They warm quickly and nicely. The battery packs tuck nicely into the pockets and don't come out overnight. If I sleep quickly, I don't get a chance to put them in the low setting, I will often awaken during the night and remove them or keep the sock on but power down. They are easy on and off and don't require a lot of brain power, which would wake me up. I use them when cold/chilly in the house too. Especially, lazy weekend days. Walking in slippers or clogs is comfortable. Don't feel the wires with these types of footwear. Haven't used them inside boots or tighter shoes. They do warm the tops and bottoms of my toes and into the midfoot. No direct heating element to the heel, but not needed for me. My heel and lower calf warm easily with the toes and midfoot warm. I ended up keeping both pairs bc I like the extra battery pack and ability to switch out. Use them almost daily. You CANNOT DRY these in a dryer and they can take a good 1-2 days to airdry. So, I'm glad I have another pair to use almost daily. Tall socks that go to upper calf, not over the knee, for me. I'm 6'2" and have 16-17inch calves and fit nicely with size Large. Not tight, but snug that they don't shift or fall down easily. ... show more

You can keep your feet warm 24/7 with charger and extra battery. Excellent product, I put a pair of socks first than put warmers on over socks. So you do not have to wash warmers, I'd probable send them to cleaners. Or what ever direction say

Somehow these are both too big and too small. OK, not too big, actually about right for skiing or other knee-high applications, but I wouldn't recommend wearing these skiing. I wear a 11-11.5 and have a somewhat wide foot. The sock overall is about the right size, but the heating wires that run the circumference of the toe box at the balls of your feet are literally the only part of the sock that isn't elastic. This also happens to be the widest part of the foot that flexes the most when you're walking. If you have even a slightly wide foot or you're near the top of the size range, buy a size up. For me, getting the socks on was SNUG and a bit of a struggle to get my foot through that wire. Sitting still, it's not too bad, but any time I get up and walk around I can feel that wire pressing pretty hard. It's not quite digging in, but I worry about the strain going into that component potentially breaking the wire while I'm up and moving. I intend to use these for hunting, so for the most part I'll be sitting still, but I worry about the hike in and out. I might wear normal socks for that part and slip these things on once I'm in the blind. The last thing I want is a shock inside my boots while I'm hiking through the woods! I would recommend the manufacturer add just a little bit more wire to this part of the sock, since it really limits the sizing. Aside from that, these things are pretty awesome. Hot. The real deal. I purchased the 40 dollar version from another company first. They had the coils on the lower middle part of the foot only. They worked, but did not warm my feet. My feet were cold in the toes, not the bottom of the feet. I still kept the socks but was not satisfied. With the deer socks, the coils are located around the end of the toes and they slightly wrap around the top too. It is the perfect placement. The price point seems high, but if you have bought from previous companies whose sock failed to adequately perform, the extra 20 dollars for the deer sock is trivial. Also, I preferred this sock because the battery pocket was on the outside instead of the inner. The indicator light is larger and a better quality than the competitors. You really dont get to fully appreciate the quality of this sock until you have had the cheaper versions from the competitors. After getting an MRI, I put these socks back on immediately after the test was over. Big mistake. They were accidentally left on. As soon as I put then on, I jumped right out of them because they were so hot. So be careful. If they have been left on at max setting, turn them off to cool down. Next, a lot of people give bad reviews for the socks not staying up around the calf. This is ridiculous folks. If you have large or muscular calves, this will be a problem with every sock on the market that is long. Buy this now and save yourself time from having to return the other pairs. I wear a 13 men's. The XL fits fine. It should be able to fit even larger sizes too. ... show more
