The media could not be loaded. Lifelong chilly/cold feet and hands gal and live in MN. Wanted to try heated socks mainly for wearing lounging around the house and warming my feet before/during sleep. I can't sleep with cold feet. Researched many brands and decided to try both Snow Deer and Savior heated socks. These arrived first, a week before the other brand on Amazon. Turns out they are exactly the same. Likely the same manufacturer, just different brand names, but same product, function, performance to date . I'd recommend both brands-just buy the cheaper one at the time of purchase. Love them. Been using consistently for 3 months. Have washed them in a zippered bag per instructions. Work great. They warm my toes and midfoot nicely. Not aggressively, but noticeable. The highest setting "red" will auto switch to medium "white" after 5 min. This is for safety and battery life. Many times they feel very toasty and I step down to low "blue" setting. I hate wearing socks to bed, but my feet have to be warm for me to sleep. If I plan ahead, I'll warm my feet with these up to an hr before bed and then remove to sleep. Admittedly, I'm not that efficient and often put the socks on as I get into bed. They warm quickly and nicely. The battery packs tuck nicely into the pockets and don't come out overnight. If I sleep quickly, I don't get a chance to put them in the low setting, I will often awaken during the night and remove them or keep the sock on but power down. They are easy on and off and don't require a lot of brain power, which would wake me up. I use them when cold/chilly in the house too. Especially, lazy weekend days. Walking in slippers or clogs is comfortable. Don't feel the wires with these types of footwear. Haven't used them inside boots or tighter shoes. They do warm the tops and bottoms of my toes and into the midfoot. No direct heating element to the heel, but not needed for me. My heel and lower calf warm easily with the toes and midfoot warm. I ended up keeping both pairs bc I like the extra battery pack and ability to switch out. Use them almost daily. You CANNOT DRY these in a dryer and they can take a good 1-2 days to airdry. So, I'm glad I have another pair to use almost daily. Tall socks that go to upper calf, not over the knee, for me. I'm 6'2" and have 16-17inch calves and fit nicely with size Large. Not tight, but snug that they don't shift or fall down easily. ... show more

1/2023 update to review a year later - playing with sock sizes. New ski boots and ordered two new pairs in size small (my first sock size was medium, had a little extra fabric in toe box, but was not an issue for me skiing). Btw, these are fantastic heated socks! I don’t want my toes cold one minute- so I after I put on socks, turn batteries on high, once very warm, then put on boots and leave for the slopes. Usually skiing 5/6 hrs and toes stay very warm, have plenty of battery charge and setting still shows on high (red color is highlighted) end of day. Charge them as soon as I get back to room. I was concerned small would be tight on legs, but the light gray pair is softer materials and size small is a much better fit in the toe box. Still feels great on lower legs. 5’7” 135lb Shoe size: 9 Battery: 7.4v Sock Size: small ********************************************* 2/2022 Kept my feet & toes toasty in 20 degrees while skiing in Deer Valley UT for a week. This is an update: I have now used these socks for two winter seasons. This year I wore these almost daily through the winter for bike riding in the early morning. Temperatures ranged from the mid-teens to the mid-forties when I was wearing them. They worked flawlessly and always maintained great heat on the medium setting and they were great for keeping toes warm. I mention this because I have two other pairs of heated socks and neither does a good job on toes (one by the same manufacturer). I have also gotten questions about washing these. The short answer is I have not had the need to wash them all season. I wear them when it is cold, as I expect is true of all users, and I hang them up to dry and air out after each use. They are always fine by the next ride. I will use Woolight and hand wash to avoid damaging the electric items and will hang to dry. In short, you cannot beat these for the money. These are affordable heated socks that really work. This pair is my newest and best designed in terms of heat dispersion. I mainly use these for bicycle riding in the winter. My coldest is in the high teens, and these handle that level of cold with no problem. If you put these on high on a moderate day, they will be uncomfortably hot. You have to take care of these by hand washing and air drying. I had an earlier pair that developed a short from using machine washing. That was a shocking experience and painful, so do not do it. The sock itself is good quality and should last a long time. The battery lasts beyond 150 minutes, which is about the limit for me when it is that cold out. ... show more

You can keep your feet warm 24/7 with charger and extra battery. Excellent product, I put a pair of socks first than put warmers on over socks. So you do not have to wash warmers, I'd probable send them to cleaners. Or what ever direction say

**2 years after purchase** I was on the fence and if you are having reservations, don’t. I bought 2 pairs, one sock was defective on a pair when testing, but I sent them back and got a replacement pair. I have used these ice fishing and hunting for two seasons, both sitting in a stand and hiking. Heat lasts almost all day, but I just swap the batteries in the field and good to go.(main reason I got 2 pair) They are durable, come up to the knee and don’t fall down. Buy a size up. I have size 11 shoe and bought the XL. They are tight to get on and take a minute to adjust, but once they are in place they are awesome. Feet never get cold. Recommend a sock liner. You might start to feel the wires after a few hours of hiking but they are not bothersome and don’t cause issues. ... show more
