We used this snorkel set (we purchased two sets) for our cruise to the Bahamas. Following the included instructions, the lens was clear during use for about 30 minutes at a time before needing to rinse it off in the sea water. Face seal was fine and it was relatively easy to adjust the straps. The snorkel worked well with the minor exception that we needed periodically to hold it upright to ensure the float didn't restrict air access. My wife and I had no trouble using the snorkel sets and we really enjoyed being able to see through the clear water to observe sea life and coral, etc. Our 14-year-old son also had no trouble using it, though our 12-year-old was a touch intimidated but not because of the snorkel. Buying these inexpensive snorkel sets and sharing them for five of us saved us a few hundred dollars by not needing to rent a local set for the week of the cruise or by not needing to pay for the expensive cruise excursions. As a scuba diver I'm very picky about my mask and snorkel since that can ruin a trip. I purchased this set for daughter as she will be scuba diving for the first time soon. I looked through all of the options, and chose this one based on description, features and reviews. The seal that it forms is great, and the band didn't pull hair (although you can get velcro cloth to make it easier to take on and off with long hair). The snorkel features the wave stop (keeps water from coming down the snorkel), which is very important if snorkeling in waves or wanting to underwater at all. Follow their directions on washing the inside of the mask with toothpaste or get fog away spray or you will be frustrated. Overall, a good product. ... show more

Right off the bat I could tell it was decent quality for the price of the product and I appreciate that it comes with a bag to put the items in. The biggest complaint that I have is that the mask wasn’t really anti fog, but I did read the little pamphlet that it came with and it was super helpful to get tips and advice on how to create the anti fog feature for the mask. And I did some research online too so I realized that most masks need to get prepped for it to be anti fog. I also really liked that the mask fit on my smallish face well and my bf’s too (we switched at some point while snorkeling to try each others out). Barely any water would get into the mask unless I actively tried to let it in and the snorkeling piece was great at keeping water out too! Definitely going to continue using my gear for future water trips :) ... show more

So we bought two sets of theses snorkels (black and yellow) for our first time trip to Hawaii. We have never snorkeled before so we tested these out at our local pool before our trip , which I recommend if you’ve never snorkeled . They worked great and they didn’t leak. They feel like high quality , I like how easy it is to pop off the snorkel and just swim with the mask if you want. Also get yourself self some defogger for any mask really. Any way like others have said it’s nice having your own gear and pretty compact in suitcase . Can’t wait to use again! ... show more

This snorkeling gear was great for the money. We purchased 2 of these for our cruise as it was much cheaper to buy than to rent and not to mention the fact of sanitary reasons. Who wants to put a mouth piece in when it's been in who knows how many other mouths. It does fog up so I would recommend purchasing some anti fog. Our friends had some and it made a world of difference to see more clearly. They never leaked and when diving the auto float was great on not letting in any water. It took a little figuring out on how to get the air spout connected properly to the goggles but not too bad. It is very comfortable and the rubber nose is definitely a plus. Bought this mask and snorkel set for a recent trip to the Maldives. I am very pleased with this purchase. The snorkel kept completely dry inside even when fully submerged. The mask fit comfortably and held a firm seal so there was no leaking and no fogging. I used them daily for long periods of time diving and snorkelling. The price paid was very fair. I didn’t have a water safe camera so no pictures but we bought 5 sets of these for a trip to Riviera Maya. They worked great, no leakage for most though my husband had a little bit due to his mustache (no mask has ever worked for that. We snorkeled in cenotes and the ocean and the valve on the snorkel worked great when diving under or bigger waves hit us. Make sure you adjust the snorkel to sit higher so the tube from the strap to your mouth is as short as comfortable- this gives you more room to tilt your head without the stopper having to stop water from coming in your snorkel. ... show more

Our scuba masks are 20 years old and for our spring break trip we bought 3 snorkeling sets of this brand. This set worked well for all of us, adults and teens. Masks did not leak and were soft and comfortable on the face. Masks fogged and we used common remedies to prevent fogging. Snorkel was flexible and dry. The set didn’t have chemical plastic smell or taste. Last two years we had to return sets by other brands due to constant leaking problem. This one we are keeping for the summer use and next trips.
