  • Roof Cross Rails for 2021 Pallisade
Model: SnailflyPLSUGCB
Shipped on time. Easy to install, strong, looks good and cost effective compared to those sold by dealer at $400.00. As the instructions say, don't completely tighten the supports onto the side rails till the supports are located in final position wjere yoi want them or you will need to loosen reposition and tightened again. I connot detect any additional noise due to wind. No conflict with the moon roof. Took about 30 minutes to install. I have left the roof rails on but they can be removed but will take about the same time to remove them that it took to install. As an engineer, I am satisfied with this product and recommend it. ... show more

  • Sturdy, well designed and crafted, perfect fit, simple installation
Model: AMZ-C83V09
See subject line for my main point. Superb in all ways. Placed on a 2023 Sante Fe hybrid SEL Premium with extended sunroof. Zero problems. Clear instructions. 30 min install. Secure, solid, and well crafted. Have not tested road noise on highway with open roof... but suspect minimal due to aerodynamic design. Excellent. ... show more

  • Fits 2019 Santa Fe Ultimate
Model: AMZ-C83V09
Easy to put together just a hassle to use the little wrench. Knocking a star since one of the keys got stuck and the covers keep coming off. I used duct tape on the covers during our trip which solved that issue. Just cut and reapply if you need to adjust them...just dont forget the little wrench!!

  • Fits and looks great, but note it's tall...
Model: SnailflyPLSUGCB
It's quality/strong , easy to install and stylish/aerodynamic looking. It does look taller than other cross bars, but this is good in that it allows our Palisades moonroof to open without hitting the cargo carrier. Satisfy with purchase.

  • Good value and sturdy - be patient w/ instructions - you got this!
Model: AMZ-C83V09
I had to view the instructions a few times to grasp the full intent of the installation process. I say "view" instead of "read" because they're mostly just drawings on a one-sided page that looks like it's been copied a few times. Don't worry about attaching the long beams yet - start unlocking the end sections first. Getting the small square faceplate open to get to the "locked" area underneath was interesting Push in the 2 lower corners (there are little arrows), then put a fingernail (or thin flathead screwdriver) into the groove at the top, then pull lightly - pops open. There's a little plastic "tie" that stays attached to that faceplate in the upper right corner - DON'T cut that, just let it dangle. Unlock keyhole w/ the key, and turn. Doing that can be a bit rough - jiggle it in the lock a bit, then unlock - you'll get it. Then remove the larger plastic surrounding housing. For smaller hands, this can be challenging, but keep working at it. I had to wiggle it a bit to get it off. Once those plastic parts are removed, loosen the 2 lower bolts w/ the smaller allen wrench (provided). Loosening those starts to OPEN the jaws of the clamp that will grab onto the rail, later. Tightening those same bolts of course tightens the clamp jaws, once you have it where you want it on the rail. Instructions help after that point - and just use common sense - you'll be fine. NOTE: be sure to decide WHERE on the side rails you want your two beams to be placed, before tightening any end clamps. I watched the short video on the ordering page for that "ballpark" placement. If you have something specific you want to fit on top of those beams, measure space betwn them first. There are some round "cutout" areas on the Santa Fe's attached silver car rails, but I believe those are for Hyundai mfg racks, not these secondary market ones (?). I think you can pretty much attach these clamped babies wherever you want them on the silver car rails. 2ND NOTE: Get on a step stool so you can see WTH you're doing up there. Better leverage too. The biggest hassle for me was the 2 short screws on the UNDERSIDE of each long arm, near each of the ends. You can't see them from the topside, since the holes are pointing downward, once the bars are actually on the car. Who knows - maybe I did something out of order in this installation - lol. But I wanted to SEE those screwholes to start tightening the final bits. So I placed a small mirror on top of the car, mirror facing UP, to see where the screw holes are. This way I could view and make sure they're aligned well. Hand-tighten first, then use the "star-head" allen wrench to fully tighten (this 2nd one also provided). I'm female and 58, and I enjoy these little challenges. Enjoy the process! ... show more

  • Function as advertised but had one come off the car
Model: SN-C83V0X2200TS00
The product seemed to be well built. The cross bars fit the car very well and were easy to install. We used them along with separately purchase accessories to transport kayaks about 3 times over a 4 month period. After a recent long trip without anything installed on the cross bars, we arrived home to find one of the two cross bars missing. There was no evidence of damage to the rails where the cross bar was installed and it was originally installed very tightly per the instructions. We believe that the clamping fasteners must have vibrated loose. The clamping bolts include a split washer that I assume is intended to prevent loosening but it may not be sufficient. Split washer may not be the best hardware to prevent vibration loosening in critical applications. The product was otherwise satisfactory. If you have these installed, check to be sure they are secure before every drive. ... show more

  • Good product, poor documentaion
Model: SnailflyPLSUGCB
I bought these for my '22 Palisade Calligraphy and they fit nicely. They seem like good quality and should work fine. The look is great on the car. The "quick reference guide" which is the only documentation leaves a lot to be desired. The drawings are very small and of poor quality to the point they are useless in placing and installing the bars. If they improved the instructions, I'd give them 5 stars. One of the bars arrived with a ding on the end that fits inside the mounting. I was able to smooth it out with file and it works. If I could give them 3.5 stars I would but will stay at 4 for now. UPDATE: These are nice cross bars, but the locks are horribly cheap. The flapper that seals the key chamber does not always release properly making the key entry difficult. Also, the socket head cap screws that clamp the bars to the rails have rusted in less than a week. I'll watch them and put rust preventative on them, but I am concerned they may bleed onto the white car paint. ... show more
