It comes with super pretty sample rocks that ranged from different agates, jaspers, and quartz pieces. the instructions are great and easy to read and follow along with. I like that it came with tips in the instructions, a mesh bag to separate, and a good amount of other tools. So I bought this rock tumbler used from the Amazon warehouse and got it without any of the little side items, like the extra belt, the rocks, the various grits, and even the dedicated screwdriver. After purchasing those, it pretty much broke even. The used tumbler is in excellent shape and performs as expected. The tumbler is sound, not any louder than a dishwasher, and produces beautiful rocks, which is all I want from it. Unless it quits tomorrow, which I doubt, it's a good, sound purchase. ... show more

Ordered this to replace a Nat Geo Platinum tumbler that malfunctioned after only 10 days. I've had this tumbler going non-stop for a few months now with no issues at all. The tumbling grit could be better but that's not a deal breaker for me as I have plenty of my own. Love that it came with a spare belt and a little screwdriver but I haven't had to do anything to it yet. I’ve been using it for about a week, and I’ve added a photo of what the rocks provided look like so far. About a 50/50 mix of tigers eye and jasper. It’s easy to set up, runs great so far, and the instructions were simple and clear. It is not as loud as I expected, but it is still something you’d want in your main living area. The belt squealed for a bit, then the noise went away. It doesn’t appear to run hot in the times I’ve checked it. I’m very happy with it. ... show more

This is my first rock tumbler, and it is so cool!! It is loud but not as loud as I expected I keep it in the garage, and you can't hear anything. The rocks it came with to tumble are beautiful! I even through in some rocks I found on the beach that turned out amazing as well. It takes several weeks but pretty cool since you really don't have to do anything besides load it up for the sessions. Had it running for about a day, had less than a pound of rocks in it, then it kept faulting out. Did some troubleshooting that included running an empty barrel and everything faulted it out with an hour of run time. Sounds like the motor is dying, it whirs up and down every few seconds.
