WOW. Let me tell you I've been a skeptic of IPL devices for a while now, but I finally decided to bite the bullet and try one out. I’ve gotten terrible ingrown hairs from shaving my underarms for YEARS, and wearing tanks or swimsuits was embarrassing. After just the SECOND TREATMENT of both my underarms and bikini line, I started seeing results! I’m now 7 weeks in and the hair is nearly gone! Fortunately I’ve noticed no discoloration or long term side effects, however I will say even on the gentler mode doing my bikini line is PAINFUL. I’m talking nearly nauseating, flinching as I press the button painful. But it’s quick and it works, and isn’t that what really matters here ... show more

Unfortunately it doesn’t work the same as it did when I first bought it. The laser doesn’t go off every time I press the button or hold it on auto mode. It has become very frustrating to use and creates a patchy result. Looks like I will have to purchase another device, hopefully something that will last longer. ... show more

This is a difficult product to review. The device does very well on the obvious criteria like design and ease of use. But prospective buyers will want to know if it actually works, and that's harder to answer. Bottom line - yes, but. I have used it mostly for my legs, and it does get rid of a lot of the hair, but there are several areas where it keeps coming back. The thing is, there's no way to tell how much of that is due to user error and how much is just the limitation of the technology itself. That's because it's very easy to miss spots as you go - there's no feedback to let you know where you have already treated (and that's mostly a good thing - the instructions say that some people get reddened skin or irritation, but I haven't had that at all). Also the head of the machine is a little bigger than the actual window that flashes, so you can't see to line it up exactly (not to mention legs are irregularly shaped). I have also used it on my mustache, with some success. Having used the device for 6 months (weekly for the first 12 weeks as recommended, and as-needed after that), I'm concluding that I will need to shave and re-treat about every 2 weeks - which is still way better than every other day, so I'm ahead. ... show more

Really truly amazing results, backstory I have had issues with my facial hair since I was a teenager, so about 27 years. I would wax for several of those years, and I had Lazer treatment that cost me over $700 for 12 treatments, as that is all I could afford at the time. This did in fact work but I needed to have a couple more sessions to have this completely gone. By the time I could afford it price went up to over 1000. So for the past several years I just would just pluck my face clear it once a week. I saw this product thought I would give it a try and by the 3rd week I had already noticed a big difference. I am 8 weeks in and OMG crazy how well this has worked for me. Does not hurt u feel a sting every now and then but that is a good sign, that it got that one hair follicle. The price I paid vs what the clinics offer is well worth buy this it for sure. I have no pictures cause I was doubtful going in. So happy I was proven wrong love this !! ... show more

I have fair skin and dark hair, which is ideal for laser hair removal. I’ve been using this product for roughly 8 months on a weekly basis. Initially I saw a real reduction in hair growth on my armpits and bikini line, but the results ave been stagnant for the last several months. I don’t know if the bulb has weakened or if it’s just not strong enough to completely eliminate the hair? The machine itself is easy to use. It does get overheated however and hurts after several minutes of use, so I do have to take breaks to let it cool down. In the initial months I would have definitely recommended this product, but at this point I think I’m better off going to a professional, so I’m giving 3 stars. ... show more

(Long review..sorry) So I have PCOS like many many others. The chin hairs...OMG those damn chin hairs! Shaving, plucking etc. About 15 yrs ago I had professional laser treatment and that lasted for about a yr before those buggers came back. Like all of us, I have been so self conscious of my shin stubble. The shaving and plucking cause irritated skin/redness etc. Miserable. So I decided to try this even though I cringed a bit at the cost. The pictures here are 8 wks apart (side view and under the chin) - week one was late that first evening even after I had shaved that morning. Week 8 photos are taken on a sun night and I haven't shaved since Saturday morning!! Yes, there is still dark stubble but no where near like before and it has been about 36 hrs since a shave vs maybe 10 hrs!! I have also used this on my underarms/bikini area and seen a difference there as well - I have not used on legs. Even if I don't see all the chin hair gone by the 12 week mark, I am still quite pleased with this. The whole process on the chin takes about 2 minutes and it does feel a bit warm but not HOT. The only warning I have is be super careful around any tattoos or dark spots. I accidently caught the mole under my chin (slight ouch) and the edge of a tat on my ankle when I thought I would do my legs - BIG ouch!! Tat blistered right up for about 2 weeks and that first 24 hrs felt like that area was being bit by dozens of ants. Also i didnt really notice any difference till around the 3-4 week mark. Anywho..yep, still shaving daily but no more of that heavier stubble by evening - i am excited to see what continued use shows. So.....if you have PCOS and those nasty chin hairs - try this and I hope it works well for you!! ... show more
