I've been using it for about two weeks now, and I have already noticed changes in my hair growth. There isn't as much hair since it's somehow coming in slower, and if there is some, it's definitely thinner. As someone who has done professional laser hair removal treatment before, I love how convenient and easy this is to use. Getting it professionally done is just so hard to do nowadays because of the cost and time it takes to go to the salon each week. I’ve recently discovered IPL after many years of struggling with my confidence due to my body hair. So far, I am extremely impressed with how much slower my hair is growing back. I have very thick and stubborn body hair mixed with sensitive skin so this is totally new for me and I am loving it!! And I’m only 3 weeks in!!! I can’t wait for the results after 12 weeks! Really wanted to love this... got great reviews, says it is the most effective home hair removal device. Have used it for 10 months and it does reduce hair growth.... though certainly not 99% removal.... maybe 70%. Worst part is that just like many many other reviews - this IPL stops working after 10months.... It just ticks and ticks and barely flashes.... poor design... or maybe the thought is you got the most of it? If there really was 99% hair removal I wouldn't care .... but it doesn't get you clean, and it stops working . Save your money on this one.... ... show more

I bought it in July. I was weary at first so it took me a couple weeks to use it. Does it hurt? Yes and no. You MUST shave first. It does give a slight shock/burn sensation when you hit the button. It's hard to describe. Not really painful and def not as painful as a wax. Unless you hit hair. Then it's like a really hot lighter burn (it will singe the hair). I think skin color makes a difference too. The first time I used it I drew guide lines with a light brown brow liner. It was fine. The next week I used black cuz I couldn't find the brown and it hurt much worse. The result was a terrible stich like burn pattern (pictured). It is fading slowly 😣. It definitely works. I noticed less hair regrowth right away. I dont use it as recommended but after 5-6 uses I am staying hair free for a few more days after shaving and using it. The treatment area is small and it's easy to leave gaps (pictured). The surprise benefits for me are that it somehow also helps prevent and treat the horrible painful razor burn I get after shaving. The only thing that worked before was waxing. So it's definitely a win for me. 100% would recommend if shaving is painful for you. ... show more

I've been using this device for almost a year, and it has drastically reduced my body and facial hair! Consistent use will give the best results. I can now go weeks without shaving and worrying about having visible hair growth, and most of the maintenance I do is touch-up work on thin, barely visible hair (before I had very thick and dark hair). This device was absolutely life-changing for me in the best way! I have a decent pain tolerance, so the heat doesn't bother me as long as I'm not repeatedly hitting the same spot. There is a gentle setting for more sensitive areas, which also helps. Definitely recommend this for anyone trying to reduce unwanted body and facial hair! ... show more

I have fair skin and dark hair, which is ideal for laser hair removal. I’ve been using this product for roughly 8 months on a weekly basis. Initially I saw a real reduction in hair growth on my armpits and bikini line, but the results ave been stagnant for the last several months. I don’t know if the bulb has weakened or if it’s just not strong enough to completely eliminate the hair? The machine itself is easy to use. It does get overheated however and hurts after several minutes of use, so I do have to take breaks to let it cool down. In the initial months I would have definitely recommended this product, but at this point I think I’m better off going to a professional, so I’m giving 3 stars. ... show more

I've tried many different laser hair removal devices. Tria has been the only other one that works this well. It has completely made my armpit hair go away for months at a time. I've always struggled with armpit hair, where I have to shave every other day - no more! I now just do touch ups. I've also used this along my bikini line, on my chin, and plan to use it on my ankles. It's not the best for small places (tough to get upper lip), but overall HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. It has some great setting (fast; sensitive/less painful areas). I will say that this brings some punch, and can be pretty painful, but it's worth it to me! ... show more
