I admit I am always the first to quit when I don't see quick results. So the fact that this takes 3-4mo to see results was testing my patience. I will say if your are consistent it may be sooner, I, on the other hand was not as consistent as I would have liked to be. I would say by the second month I started noticing a difference in the hairs texture on my armpits, it was not as thick and course. This device is seriously incredible! I had professional laser treatment a few years ago, and while it worked great, it was very pricey. I wanted to have some other areas treated, but decided to try the at home route this time. I love that this device doesn’t have a limited number of pulses like many at home devices do. It can be used endlessly! It’s so easy to use, the device detects the power of the pulse based on the concentration of hair and skin tone, so it’s constantly adapting as you move it around. It’s also very quiet and lightweight, and doesn’t put off a strong flash of light. You only need to use this device once a week, where similar devices are often 3 times a week. The first few times I used this device I WAS NOT A FAN, but that was because I had not used the gentle mode. Don't get me wrong I still found it painful but the pain did lessen quite a bit. Given that it has adaptors on the side of the window I did feel like the area I used it in had less missed areas then using other IPL devices. This device did not come with glasses or a razor which I found not to be a deal breaker since most of the razors included with such items are not the greatest or the most useful for getting a close shave prior to starting IPLing the area. That being said I did not feel like this device flashed any faster than others and I would not use it again around sensitive areas like knees, elbows or face since to me the pain was unbearable even with the gentle mode. ... show more
