I've had this chair for just over 3 months now and the lever for putting out the leg rest has completely broke off the chair. Can no longer use the leg rest, extremely disappointed in this product. (Update) Got contacted almost immediately after posting my review on how my original chair had failed on me and they sent me a new chair extremely fast after providing pictures for the above broken part. New chair came in excellent condition, no issues putting it together, and it's just as comfortable as the previous. I'd have to say the customer service on this was by far one of the best I've had when it came to an issue with a product I've purchased. My only reason for leaving this as a 4 star is even though this chair is comfortable if your a taller person like myself (6'4) the back is not tall enough, if your around 5'8 or shorter it'll probably fit you fine. What is supposed to be the neck pillow will end up between your shoulders blades (I used the lumbar pillow at the top of the chair to give more upper back support). Even though that's an issue its still a very comfortable chair and does what I needed it for. This is my 3rd pricey ergo desk chair, 1st gaming chair. My first died after long years of use and abuse. It was a good chair. Picked up a new one for $750 recently that was supposed to be all that and a bag of chips, designed by chiropractor and endorsed by celebrities. I returned it disappointed, but the company to their credit, credited me. I was only out the cost of the box to return it. I spend a lot of time in desk chairs on a computer. This is just my first impression: The instructions are not great. You can't really see what they are talking about. They are small diagrams, where as a simple picture would have really helped. I had to keep referring to the picture on the box. The build seems pretty good. The screws line up. Tip: put the seat tilt plastic vertical covers on first but do not tight leave it really loose. There is only 1 screw and if you put on the bottom first, it's doable, but hard to line up the 1 screw holding on the top. A small flashlight will help with the bottom cover of the tilt assembly too, to line up the screws with the holes. Once tightened it looks fine, though you would never know from the instructions. The base was a piece of cake, as was the lift piston. They include a tool combo of allen wrench phillips screw driver. The small screws don't like it much but it works. The allen screws were easy peasy. Up down is like most chairs. Seat tilt is decent. Arms adjust up down, left right, and forward and back, which I really like. Not sure how comfortable the seat will be long term, more later. Only just sat down. ... show more

Very easy to assemble. HOWEVER! The last piece to assemble were the pillows and boy did the headrest pillow fail. When I tried to adjust the straps to make the fit tighter, the straps just seared itself off from the buckle. Either way, it seemed like the product was too loose to fit securely through the holes. Tried to contact Amazon customer service to see if they can do a replacement of the one item and they said the whole item...which is great I guess, BUT...the whole piece is already assembled. For me to disassemble it, put it neatly back into the box with all the screws contained and such to be considered returnable for Amazon pick up standards is going to be impossible. So I said I'd try my luck with the manufacturer and they told me that they will just tell me to contact Amazon customer service. I told them I'd take my chances. With that being said, S*MAX contacted me through Amazon and told me that they were very sorry I had a bad experience and would send me a replacement head pillow with the straps. A+ Customer service. With that, I up my total from 2 stars to 3. Received the pillow not too long afterwards and the product fits snuggly on the back. Thank you S*MAX!!! As far as comfort and support, everything seems great, but I will go back and edit my review to give a status on how it is holding up. This chair is a huge disappointment for the money. I highly doubt this will last very long. It is poorly built. Alignments during assembly were very off and required 2 people. One to force pieces into place and another to align and insert screws. The controls are sloppy and cheap. If it was not such huge undertaking to disassemble and repackage, I would absolutely return it. I guess I'm just stuck with it...... ... show more

Good quality, bigger and more comfortable than most gaming chairs. The only problem is the length of the back of the chair. I’m 5 11” and the top of the back doesn’t come up to my head. Barely reaches my neck. The neck support is at my shoulder blades… As you lean the chair back you can get some support to your neck. ... show more

Putting it together wasn't hard, though the provided tools made it difficult, I switched to my own tools and it went better. My main complaints are that it isn't very comfortable, it is difficult to raise the foot rest, and it doesn't look sturdy enough for long term use.
