The only thing that I can say is that I have the biggest princess fur baby imaginable. She’s pampered beyond belief, and I’m almost ashamed to admit that my life works around HER schedule. I can honestly tell you that I have spent FAAAR more money than I should but I’m an empty nester & I have a disability that does not allow me to work so…… Anyway, I have spent hundreds of dollars on any & every type of toys & the ONLY toy she will & has played w/in the past few years has been this toy. They are in every crevice & under every price of furniture in my home. I actually got her 2 new toys today & she couldn’t care less. I keep trying to find another toy that she might like (probably X2 a month) and she will not give them a second look. I have absolutely no idea what it is about this mouse that she will only have anything to do with but she loves it. They hold up really well but every few months I will try to find the oldest ones to make room for the new ones. There’s nothing wrong w/them but when she’s got 15-20 of them stashed around the house it gets a little much. I have no answers but a $4.00 toy compared to some that are upwards of $30.00-$40.00 interactive toys that everyone swears by does nothing for her. The people I know who have fur babies love all of her rejected toys though, so I’m glad my money isn’t being completely wasted. ... show more

i don't know what it is about these mice in particular that my cat loves so much, but he has never played with a toy as consistently as he does with these mice. i only buy multiples because he throws them in water or loses them or gets them really dirty somehow. He isn't the type to react to catnip, so it isn't that! I cut the little feather ears off because he rips them off instantly, but other than that, I will always keep them on hand. I first got some in 2019 when he was 6, he's just turned 10 and still runs around the house screaming with them. ... show more

Madcap Mouse is my Piggy’s favorite toy ever made. She even has a special meow for when she’s carrying Madcap around. She flings this toy up in the air and catches it. She just adores this toy and only this toy. Her last one disappeared, so I had to replace it and now life is back to normal around here. My cat absolutely loves the tea bags. She did manage to get a little catnip on her teeth somehow, but they bring her so much joy I'm leaving it at 5 stars. She rubbed all over the bag before I even knew what was inside and went crazy kicking and running as soon as it was open. My sister's cat found the spot we had been playing hours later and could tell there had been catnip, so she went crazy too. This stuff must be top-notch kitty drugs, plus it's adorable. SmartyKat makes the best cat toys, by far. Our girl loves their mice, but our two boys love the firecrackers the best. All three of them absolutely go wild for the feathered firecracker toy. We’ve bought these twice from Amazon and will definitely be buying more.

My cat goes wild for the tea bags! He licks the outside, so they turn a brown/gray, but they keep him super entertained! The first one he got, he tore it within 24 hours. The second one hasn't been torn after several days, and he still loves it.
