The media could not be loaded. This electric bike is rock solid and so smooth to ride. What I love about it: 1, the design is fantastic and it looks so cool when riding. 2, the packaging was done very well. 3, it was easy to assemble, taking me about one and half hours with no issues. 4, the seven-speed gears provide ample speed, the dual disc brakes ensure a safe ride, and the fat tires give me extra stability and grip. 5, the five riding modes are a great feature, allowing me to adjust the pedal assistance to suit my needs. 6, the battery is powerful, on my first ride, I almost covered 18 miles and still have half of the battery remaining. 7, the electric bike motor is strong and handles different slopes and road conditions with ease. 8, the bike is user-friendly, with simple controls that make it easy for a beginner to get started. Areas that could be improved: 1, the instructions for starting the bike were not clear or perhaps I missed them, it took me a while to figure it out with a long press on the M button. 2, the battery indicator sometimes changed based on the road conditions. Had my DK400 for a few hundred miles now. Good lightweight ebike. I beat the heck out of mine and have only scratched the paint. Seat and rack area comes a couple mm off center, so be prepared to pry the rack into place as you insert the screws, but you can get them to seat fully. Be sure to bed in the brakes before you ride, or you will have to replace the pads and rotors. I'd recommend organic pads, much quieter. Rear suspension sucks, it's just a spring. Plan on upgrading this, even a $40 one is a huge upgrade. Bike will do nearly 32mph, and I'm seeing real world range of around 25-30 miles on throttle only averaging like 18mph. Customer service has been great to deal with I've emailed them a few questions, and they always reply within a day or two with a detailed answer. They've even been helpful when modifying the bike. ... show more

very comfortable bike i love the speed. the battery life could be better and the screws to the hitch hiker didn't really match with the predrilled holes they were supposed to screw in. Pretty durable bike although I did hit a pothole the chain correction thing broke because it was plastic but didn't affect the peddling. I'll add photos eventually. I just want to share how awesome this company is that I bought a bike from. DK400. This may have been the BEST experience I have had contacting a seller. I had one little question/issue and it was resolved via email in MINUTES! IMPRESSIVE! I love this bike. I got everything I was promised PLUS! The tools given will do the job and get you on the road but you will need (and should already own) a hex set and typical bike tools to put everything how you like it. Any faults in assembly is user error because it was easy and SMOOTH! The manual looks like ART to me. I appreciate those little things. It's cozy riding it for me. Sooo smooth. It's actually more impressive when you get it. Everyone I know has said WHOA when they saw the bike in person vs the pics. What you see is what you get...PLUS! Under promise, over deliver feels like their practice as a business. That's a great quality! I was expecting some sort of problem as a consumer. NOPE! Perfect. The only good think that came from this purchase is the bike arrived a day early. Unpacking & assembly was easy, but it didn’t come with everything it was supposed to. Came with a really cheap pump, one you probably use on a toddlers tricycle and tools to assemble it didn’t come with the cell phone holder or compartment bag like it shows in the description of what all come with the bike. Charged it for around 6 hours before riding the bike. So I’ve taken it on four 10 mile rides and have had to charge it after each ride for 6 hrs. each charge. I had bought a Victrip Titan S for my wife, & with halve a battery charge on her bike it father then this bike has in the 4 charges I’ve had to do. Her bike is heavier with a second seat on it, accelerates faster, goes faster, & that’s with my 11 year old daughter sitting on the back seat while I’m riding on this one alone. This bike is around $150 more then the Titan we bought her. So disappointing! So know I’m going to be returning this bike while having to pay for shipping and restocking fees. So it’ll actually cost me even more. Then start the process all over, hopefully the next one will be what it claims and earn a five star review and happy customer. Gave it 2 stars cause it is fun to ride but rides are short and pedaling a pain, it’s like sitting in a big wheel and trying to pedal as an adult not like when your a kid cruising the Neighborhood. I’m 5’9 weigh 186 lbs so maybe if your 5’2 or less may be easier, may last longer per charge. Maybe. I hope this helps, good luck. BTW to adjust the seat height you have three options. Remove the bolt on the rear suspension and pick one of the options. Neither one makes much of a difference from the other. Wouldn’t recommend waisting time if you do decide to by this product. I wanted a bike for exercise and was hesitant to try this one because I thought it would be clunky and heavy and hard to maneuver. I was wrong. The shocks make it so comfortable going over bumps in the road and it’s lightweight enough to ride with the same effort as a regular bike. I don’t use the electricity much, since it’s for exercise, but it does go up to 34 MPH. My husband put it together pretty easily, but he is very handy and has a lot of tools.
