I live in Canada and cannot purchase this item in my country.... it is considered a safety risk.... the safety risk is NOT with the item, it is with the parent/guardian supervising the child...... this item is not a baby sitter.... it is for helping a child learn to walk and gain strength in legs and back and learn balance..... it is horrible that I had to send to the USA to get this item, but feel fortunate that I could have it shipped to Canada... I recommend this item for it's intended use ! ... show more

This walker was easy to assemble, although the instructions said to push hard on the wheels and stair prevention stops in order to seat them, I needed to use a small rubber mallet, otherwise no amount of strength and pushing will get them into their seated position. Just a sharp tap of the mallet on the wheels was all that was needed to seat them in position. This was due to the walker already being in an elevated position since that was the order of assembly. It might work better if the walker was in the closed (strapped down with zip ties) which would provide a little more stability on the unit when it is turned upside down to install the wheels and stair safety stops. The instructions were easy to follow and understand. If following the step-by-step instructions, you are instructed to insert the rear handlebar. Then afterward are told that once inserted, it cannot be removed. If you did not want the rear handlebar installed; you need to skip that assembly step. Once the height adjustment is set, there is little chance of it accidently slipping and causing the baby to fall to the floor in the walker. The adjustment mechanism required the parent to twist a turn buckle, then press down on the turnbuckle to release the catch, then twist the turnbuckle back into the locked position. Once those steps are followed, the walker is a good safe accessory for your baby. The feeding tray is removable for easy cleanup, making it a good place to put finger foods for your baby. The two toys provided are securely mounted to the tray top in either of two positions. Position one is as shown in the product picture, with the baby seated behind the toys. Position two is behind the seat for when the toddler is learning balance and walking with the walker as support. Although, this position is an alternative position, I see no safety reasons to mount them there as your toddler needs both hands on the walker handle for ensure safety and stability. Maybe as they get older and more stable, this position may be useful. The toys pedestaled on flexible springy supports, allowing the toys to be tugged on without breaking. The toys are easily attached and detached and can be used separately from the walker if desired. And as a plus the toys do require any batteries, just good old fashion fun.     • Easy walker for baby, easy installation.
This baby walker is built with efficiency and durability. There are only two adjustable height settings, so my daughter only used it a few times before she was able to climb out. It is easy to assemble, but it does not fold like it shows in the description. At least if it does, I could not figure out how to fold it up. You can use this walker as a pre-walker for baby before installing the wheels which strengthens their leg muscles.
