I have a 4.5-5lb Chihuahua and having this coat on when it's raining or just cold, makes it so much easier to get her outside and make her stay out to take care of 'business'. It warms up quickly and sheds rain fairly well. I have washed it a couple times and hung it to dry, and seems well made. It does run a bit small, so the medium fit the best. I recently rescued another Chihuahua and got him the same medium size coat. Both coats zip up the back, which is so much easier than wrap around Velcro straps that get fur stuck in them and begin to fray with repeated use. The zippers are plastic, but pretty sturdy. There are 2 metal rings on the back of the coat to easily attach a leash. ... show more

I was looking for a harness for my yorkie that would not mat her hair as much as her current harness. The normal step in harness with the clip and straps was rubbing her hair too much. This seems to be working great. She’s about 6.5 pounds and it fits her exactly. If your dog weighs much more I’d go to the next size. ... show more

It's a very cute vest. Sizing is fine too. I bought Small for my 6 pound Havanese puppy and it fits fine. But it doesn't really work as harness: harness loops were destroyed (tore away) by my 6 month old 6 pound pup after 10 minute walk

Very cute, no doubt there. Especially in the spring where the morning are a bit chilly but not freezing. It’s good if you’re going to the a morning stroll with your dog but using it as a replacement for an active harness, absolutely no.
