The standard slider feet that came with the walker weren't contributing to my mobility or doing the floors any favors, so I decided to try these footies instead. These little footies have made a dramatic difference in my being able to get around the house easily. They're quiet and they slide smoothly, which is exactly what I needed. After the fuzzy part wore off the first pair of these cute little footies, I ordered a second pair. Again, there was a personal note from Margaret Johnson on the receipt, a nice touch. It's remarkable what a difference these footies make in the ease of using a walker without slipping around or scraping and leaving marks on wood floors. Gliding is quiet and more stable. Furniture Footies are the perfect way to protect hardwood floor from a walker. The gray color and small size are much less obvious than yellow tennis balls that most people use. Most importantly, dogs perceive YELLOW tennis balls as toys, which creates a hazard when using a walker around dogs who try to play. I ordered these for my walker as they looked easier to install than the traditional tennis ball. They are! I always have trouble shoving getting a tennis ball on my walker and usually have to rely on someone else's strength to get the on. These are very easy to install and have a lot of rubber inside to prevent the ball from cutting through the bottom of the ball. I will be ordering again! ... show more
