Installed easily when lubricated with WATER. Ski tips glide well over uneven surfaces. I can’t speak to longevity yet, but I believe I would use these to replace them again when they wear out. All tips will eventually wear out. I like them much better than tennis ball tips.

While these were easy to install/switch out the original circle disks, these skis are NOT popping off easily in the future! LOL Hoping they hold up for a VERY long time...I used my walker in the rain yest morning and it glided along like a brand new walker! :-) And for the price, you can't beat it!

    • They Make a Walker Easier to Use Verses the Round Leg Ends

My wife had a knee replacement and required the use of a walker and it came with round leg ends, almost like a stopper. The round leg ends would not slide on sidewalks or over entry door mats & thresholds. I purchased these Walker Skis Glides and they really work great. The one thing I recommend is to have two walkers, one for outdoor use and one for indoor use. My reasoning is as following: Using these glides on a walker on sidewalks and other rough surfaces causes a sandpaper effect to the glide, making the glide rough and so rough, I noted it was beginning to scratch/mark our hardwood flooring. Because the glides work so well in an out - I elected to pickup a second walker, one for only inside use and the other for doctor appointments and or any other outside the house adventures. ... show more
