UPDATE—- After using this juicer for about two weeks, I have had zero issues! So, I will change the rating to 5 stars, although I still have no idea who to contact if I have a problem! I juice daily in the morning, but try to prep enough veggies for 3 or 4 days. I have juiced beet root and leaves, carrots, celery, apple, turmeric root, and ginger. I clean the parts immediately after juicing and put in the dishwasher once a week. At the price point that I purchased, I would recommend as a beginner juicer, until you know that you will juice for the long haul!! Happy juicing! I received the Brecious Cold Press Juicer today. I purchased it at a good price point, until I can be sure that we will use the machine on a daily basis. Assembly was easy, as well as cleaning after use. I cleaned the parts as soon as I finished juicing, as I read that the longer it sits, the harder to clean. Cleaning was rinsing the plastic parts and using the supplied brush to clean the filter. I prepped and ran several carrots and celery stalks, with no issues. The machine is relatively quiet and worked perfectly! The only issue so far, the best I can tell is there is no warranty for this juicer (no information online or in the box).I did buy the added 4 year warranty, so I should be covered. Got it yesterday, used it today and so far I'm NOT disappointed, the scraps were basically dry. It does seem like you need to be careful when cleaning it or handling it but other than that works great. If review is not updated that means I'm still happy with the product

The media could not be loaded. This is probably one of the best juicers for this price you will ever get. It’s not loud, the pulp is pretty dry, it does a great job breaking down the food. It’s small and can fit in a cabinet.

I wanted to try juicing, but I had only a small budget for more gadgets. This machine definitely works very well so far. My first run was 1 pound each of organic turmeric and ginger. I did not have very high expectations, thought that it might not extract all the juice. The ginger was 1 lb and I think the turmeric was .85 lb. I probably got 26 oz of juice out of that. After trying smaller batches by blender and cheesecloth, this was very exciting to get that much juice extracted so quickly. I also did some garlic and then some soft citrus. Of course it did just as well with the soft stuff. My brother does huge batches of an elixir that contains tons of turmeric (like 40-50 lbs per batch) and his machine cost almost ten times what I just paid for this Brecious juicer. I have quite a few health problems and really started researching natural remedies. My brother really believes in turmeric. I did not like the taste of his recipe and it upset my stomach too much, so I decided to start making my own and this juicer seems to be the way to go for how much I need to juice. I only plan on doing small batches of ginger turmeric mixes a couple times per month and I want to do other fruit juices and green juices as well. I think this machine would last a very long time and be a good investment if you only juice softer stuff. I am not sure how long it can hold up to turmeric, ginger, carrots, and other harder stuff. After the first cleaning, I could not get all the turmeric off the impeller shaft. When I tried a srcubby sponge designed for dishes, the plastic appeared to be breaking down already and was changing to a lighter color where I was scrubbing. Turmeric is really strong stuff and will stain just about anything. I am a little concerned about how the plastic shaft looks after cleaning and hope it is not leaching chemicals off the plastic. I found a replacement shaft that seems to be identical for less than $15 and will try to figure out a better method of cleaning. -After about 10 days of almost daily use, this is a real keeper. I would definitely recommend this juicer. It works great and very easy to clean (except for turmeric). I think this was an excellent purchase and I don't think I would have got anything much better even if I spent over $200 on something similar. My favorite health elixir shot recipe right now...equal amounts ginger and turmeric, lemons, oranges, entire heads of garlic, honey, lots of cayenne pepper and cracked black pepper. The fresh orange and honey makes it much more palatable and easy on my stomach. The black pepper is supposed to help with absorption of the turmeric, but in my research I found that you should also take the turmeric with a healthy fat to aid in absorption as well. When I take the shots now I mix the elixir with a little extra virgin olive oil, about a tsp of ground cinnamon and maybe a tsp of honey. This actually tastes amazing and I barely notice any upset stomach. ... show more
