We ordered this slide for our younger three kids; and the rest of the neighborhood, apparently. It arrived quickly with zero problems. The set-up looked so simple that I tasked our two 9 year-olds with setting it up. Unfortunately, they either lost one of the attachment parts, or it was missing. Our bet was that they lost it. So, it took a second for us to rig up a new one. Once we had the water flowing, it was game on. Unlike the original slip-n-slide (which we personally used in the 80s), the water didn't pool up on the sides of the slide. We've destroyed parts of our lawn with other slides we have tried in the past. The bumper pool at the end is especially helpful if you have younger kids and toddlers. Pro tip; older babies love to sit at the end and have big kids slide to them. Neighborhood dogs may jump their fence to play on your slide. No worries, their claws, more than likely, won't rip the plastic. Our kids happened to first use it on a very hot summer day (over 95 degrees); not once did they complain about the heat. Great for getting the kids outside on their own; we all need that sometimes. Oh, and the body boards are still alive and inflated after 3 weeks of constant use; these also make great baby-doll beds for outside. Highly highly recommend. ... show more

Oh boy is this reminiscent of my youth - slip and slide! First and foremost, this summer toy is super fun for all ages! However, there is so much room for injury, so please keep safety first in mind! Be sure there is ample room! The unit is very well constructed. The PVC material is not flimsy, and the seams are well done. Set up is quick and easy. Tear down is quick as well, however, the unit will not fit into the original packing. With proper care the unit should last a few seasons. Play responsibly! ... show more

First, we noticed right away that one of the inflatable body boards had a hole in it. Tried using a patch, but it didn’t work real well. Then I realized it said two patches were supposed to arrive with the slide, but there was only one. Second, the directions that come with it are far less detailed than the description on here. The paper directions made the hose adapter portion way more confusing because it made it seem like you needed to use all the parts, which definitely isn’t the case. Lastly, it was really hard to slide on (with or without the body boards). We ended up doing the dish soap thing, which helped a bit, but we had to keep putting it on there, so we ended up just being done with this and putting it away. ... show more
