I tried to patch a large innertube, and I followed the instructions exactly but the patch came off within 24 hours. I patched it in my basement and never even took it outside. The only thing that may have caused it to come off was lower then normal temperatures at the time because it was winter time and my basement was about 50 degrees. ... show more

The kit includes a ton of patches, but they require the use of glue and are not self-adhesive, which makes them much more tedious to apply. The rubber patches are a pretty thick material, which I'm sure makes them perfect for other applications, but the rubber doesn't stretch as much as the thin material used for bike tubes and my wheel was noticeably out-of-round after using one of these patches. ... show more

This is basically a new variation of the ones we all used as kids. Light weight kit that includes all the quality repair needs in a nice little can. I remember fixing many flat tires with a kit like this while my father was by my side. I almost wish one of my kids bikes would get a flat so I can break this bad boy out and teach them as I was.
