  • Great and fast charger
It's a little bit intimidating for a begginer, but I love it. Don't waste your money on cheap USB chargers that might catch on fire and get this one instead. I made that mistake so you don't have to. I was using cheap USB charger for a small 2S lipo, until I bought much larger 4S lipo that those charges would never charge. What a change. This one is 10 times faster, doesn't heat up to 120F and it balances the charge of all cells. ... show more

  • Perfect!
This thing is no joke! I got a stock pile of recycled batteries i took from disposable vapes. Charges a 1000mah battery is seconds! Goes from dead to 4.2v (full) in 5-10 seconds. Wanted to build a nice phone charger with them, this will help me balance them out and move forward with my side projects. ... show more

  • Excellent charger. Much better than the less expensive B6 LiPo charger
I had the cheaper B6 LiPo Charger before this. Although it did charge and work as described, except for not charging over 5A due to undersided External power supply. This charger is much better. More features and the power supply is itegrated into the charge and not a huge external brick. I've used it for LiPo and NiMh batts. The repeak feature is a great addition for getting the most out of your old NiMh batteries. ... show more

  • Authentic & dual power, comes w/ AC power cord
So far so good. Arrived well packaged & on time. Authentic item. I purchased this charger to charge & test the used 18650 cells I've harvested from various sources. By watching several different YouTube vids I've been able to inexpensively rig a 15 slot cell holder to speed up the charging process since I have about 1000 to do. I'm building a DIY powerwall for my RV. Actually one of the things that's cool about this specific item is it can also use a DC power source to charge my cells. Which is important to me because it means I can minimize the amount of time I run my generator.by simultaneously using this charger and charging every other storage battery I have (Makita, etc.) while it's running then using those to run this charger. And soon I'll be able to run it from my solar panels. Yea!!!! After all eliminating the use of fossil fuels for electricity is the whole point. I had read the reviews & somewhere saw that the manual sucked. It's clear reading it that the people who wrote it aren't native English speakers but the instructions are fine. If there's anything that's unclear, this is such a popular charger there is going to be a video that answers your questions. Also this one comes with the ac power cord as well as a DC power cord and a couple others. Hope this helps. ... show more

  • Nice charger and feels like quality
This charger has every appearance of being an original and the SN checks out on the IMAX web site. It does everything they say it will and it was not too difficult to figure everything out although the instructions could be a bit clearer. They make perfect sense once you know what your doing but in the beginning you may be scratching your head a bit. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they have put a filter capacitor across the power input which in itself is a good thing but when you first plug the unit in you get an arc at the outlet because the capacitor is drawing so much power for a millisec to charge up. They really need a soft on circuit or at least an on/off switch. It probably will not do any damage but is disconcerting to get that snap and flash every time you plug in. ... show more

  • Big Improvement over the standard B6.
I build batteries! The unit has a built-in DC Adapter. It comes with a 110v 3-contact cable. I like that you can download a PC app for this which gives you access to setting that aren't available in the Standalone Unit. Just plug in a Mini-USB cable from your' computer (laptop in my case), and adjust your settings, Voila! The app let's you adjust the maximum charge voltage and minimum discharge. The Built-in power allows up to 6amps of charging power, which is handy on larger batteries. I always place my battery and charger on a metal plate for safety. ... show more

  • Great Charger for the Price
I have had this for about 8 months. I purchased it to charge RC aircraft lipo aircraft batteries. I have a number of other chargers for cylindrical batteries. For what it is, I really like it. I can use the AC mains at home, my car battery in the field and and a seperate 50 amp hour lithium iron phosphate battery that I built. Just be aware that its maximum output amperage is 6 amps. It is really designed to charge one battery at a time although for smaller mAh lipos, you can use a balance board. The meter and internal resistance measurements appear to be accurate. I have not used it with my laptop yet. But overall, you can't go wrong with this. That said, if you need to charge multiple batteries at a time or higher mAh batteries, you should find a different one. ... show more

  • A learning curve is needed
You'll need to do some reading and keep your instructions handy as everything about this charger is not intuitive. However it's a very powerful charger and great once you learn how to use it.
