What I like: Crinkly ears, adorable character, teething bumps on the leaf and bandana What I don't like: It's about 10" tall, which is twice as big as I expected from the pictures. It was a while before my son could get his hands around the ring or the tail/arms to really grasp the toy. Overall, we love it in our house because of the cute expression on the fox's face, but the parents are the one "playing" with it more than baby. ... show more

I don’t know what it is about this toy, but my 10-week old daughter can stare at it for 30mins nonstop and smile!

So, far my 2mo daughter loves it a lot. I got it for her as she started teething early. But she is not quite able to grasp things tight enough to hold then to her mother. She hasn't figured out how to chew on the toy yet. But it immediately caught her eye and started playing with it and making noise like she was talking to it. The only disappointment I have with it is the body is a yarn pattern cloth. I was hoping for a bit more texture. But yarn can be hard to clean so I understand the idea behind it. I will say I have been really on edge trying to buy things for her to play with. Thanks to covid-19 most baby toys are scarce finding in stores. I can't have her there with me to gadge a reaction. While shopping on Amazon I noticed a lot of potential toys similar to the fox's and then read that people were not getting the items they were paying for but a knockoff or the wrong animal. I appreciate the fact that I did get the exact item I was wanting. So, thank you for paying attention to the item that was actually requested. As I believe there was an elephant or something aside from the fox. But thank you. You make it easier on new parents during this time. ... show more

They are so cute! I also bought a unicorn one for my daughter as well. They are a lot bigger than I thought they would be and it makes it a little harder for my 6 month olds to grab but they love a challenge!

    • Our baby's favorite toy
This is a great product for young babies. Our almost four month old is able to hold different parts of the fox - the top ring, the ears that make a crinkly noise, the nose, the green teething leaf in the pocket, the legs, and the soft tail. There are lots of different textures for him to explore with touch. There is a jingly noise in the fox's head and also the rattle attached to the foot. We can hang the toy from a different brand's activity play mat and it helps our baby be able to grab the toy by himself. It was a little too heavy for him to hold up himself when he was just starting to grab and hold things at three months, but now he's more able to. We also have the monkey and the elephant. All three are great toys. This one is the biggest but just slightly, and does not have a squeaker or mirror piece if that is important to you. We think this is the cutest one because of the little sideways smile. Our baby consistently smiles the most at this toy. ... show more
