This is a complete set of pads ideal for a beginner skater. They are well made, and were carefully and neatly packed in a reusable storage bag. The color is fun and they seem to be of good quality. I've worn them, and found them comfortable for my amount/level of speed and exertion, but haven't fallen on them yet. So I can't give firsthand feedback on their fall protection. I'll update this if (when?) they experience use in a fall. The only small issue is that the palm portion of the wrist guards isn't quite tight enough on me- everything else fits quite well, and the wrist portion of the wrist guard is fine. Perhaps I have oddly narrow hands? It's easily addressed with some additional velcro sewed on the strap to give a longer surface for stretching it tighter, and it's nothing I'd fault the manufacturer for or send them back over. They fit in a protective way, I'd just find them a little more comfortable if they had that extra inch of tightening at the palm. For those comparing sizes, I am 5'8", about 195 lbs, and ordered the L/XL. I don't think I would want to go smaller in the knee pads, and as I mentioned the wrist section of the hand guard fits well. ... show more

I like them. Cool design and it feels as comfortable as it can get for protective pans.I plan to use them for my electric scooter when it comes. I got the L size and I'm 5'8.5 and 143 lbs.

Purchased size small for my soon-to-be 7-year old. She wears size 6-7 clothing and in size 12 shoes, for reference. These seem to be a good fit for her with some room to grow. Went with the purple and blue color as she’s getting away from pink. I actually bought several wrist guard sets and this is the one we kept because I thought it had the best fit and quality for the price. We haven’t used it yet (it’s still early spring and we are in the north and haven’t gotten back into sports yet) but the plan is to use these for roller skating and hoverboard. I primarily wanted the wrist guards because she seems to land on her hands a lot, but the elbow and knee pads are a bonus. I’ll update my review after we’ve gotten some use out of them. ... show more

I am a casual skater in my mid-thirties. 5’6”, ~160lbs, average build. These do not stay put and end up riding either up or down a bit on the knees and elbows, and the wrist guards have an imperfect fit. But when I have had a tumble, they always broke the fall. The pink appears somewhat lighter in person - more bubble gum and not so hot pink. Overall, worth the money. Protect your body, you only get one!! ... show more

For Christmas, I bought the SKATEWIZ Skate Pads Skateboard Pads for Kids 8-14 SMASH By: VitalVentures for one of my nieces. She was ecstatic about the colors (black with a touch of red). Since it was the middle of winter, she hadn't been able to use them. However, she did put them on and they fit perfect, with good mobility. Bought the black/white size small for a 9 year old girl. Great fit, comfortable with good protection..we've taken a few pretty big falls and the pads did exactly what they were supposed to. No issues at all so far.
