I bought 3 pairs of these in hopes to find a decent enough alternative to Triple 8s or 187 pads, or any of the ridiculously priced pads that are out there. I, along with my 3 kids, do aggressive inline skating and I've had, tried, and tested, pads of each company including Rollerblade and JBM. I wasn't expecting much, but what I got was grade A quality. These pads are on par with 187s, even Old Bones pads. I felt my knees were a lot more secured with these on. I loved that there was a thick cushion pad right above the knee, a place where impact hits tend to be common for us, but most pads skimp on that area. This made the pad sit more secure, and helped keep it from sliding. The straps are high quality material including great velcro. The pads have the ability to be strapped on behind the knee and then with two other individual straps over top, or keep the knee straps on place and slide them on and off, then strapping the individual straps over top. Whatever way, it's comfortable, which is greatly important when wearing pads for hours at a time. We all agreed we felt a lot more secure with these pads, and after using them for four months straight I can say everything about is pad is fantastic. The real clear winner of the pad set is hands down the hand guards. I would buy pairs of these if they sold them individually. These are some of the most well fitting, comfortable, and heavily secured wrist guards I've ever tried. I cannot downplay how much I love these hand guards. I have taken some serious spills where I know my wrist was meant to take a heavy impact, but these hand guards saved them so many times. There is enough material around the actually guard where it feels like a glove almost. For me, it's perfect. I would recommend these pads hands down and they are my top set when I skate. I really like these pads as an adult trying to learn to roller skate. They seem well made and nicer than similar ones at same price range. Quality is as good or better than the Moxi pads that cost more that I got my daughter. Much nicer than the triple 8 pad set I ordered first. These ones have knee pads with a double layer. The inner layer wraps and Velcro and then the elastic strap goes over and makes it extra secure. You can also take them off without removing your skate. The elbows have a sleeve under the elastic bands as well so they don't rub as much. I guess I wish the wrist guards weren't white. They could have been black and looked nicer longer but oh well. The bag to store them is a nice addition but I wish it was just a bit larger and maybe have a handle to carry. Already recommended to a friend. I would buy again. I wish they had them in my daughter's size as they do seem nicer than the Moxi pads she ended up with. ... show more
