    • Not my first choice for a Bowden extruder. Ok for a dry box feed system.
I bought these to run from my dry boxes to the extruders on my printers. Fittings are acceptable, though I added a chamfer on the brass end to keep filament from hanging up when loading. Being accustomed to Capricorn XS tubing on my core XY printer (my other printers are direct drive with Bondtech BMG extruders and E3DV6 hotends) I cant say I would use this tubing in a Bowden system. I don’t feel it is the same quality, nor is the inner diameter made to the same tolerances. That said, it’s been working well enough for my needs and was a fair bit cheaper than a comparable amount of Capricorn tubing and fittings. I did need to leave it in front of a heater to warm it up and hang it from one end with the other weighted to get it to straighten out. Prior to this, it had a lot of memory and filament required too much effort to feed through the bends. But again, considering cost and the application, it is acceptable. ... show more

Picked these up for a couple filament dry boxes made from rubbermaid 21 cup containers. The connectors fit perfectly for what I need and it having tubing was just a potential bonus. I've only check one of the five tubes, but it seemed like it could have been too tight. I'll update this if that changes. Nobody seems to know the actual thread distance (thread size?) for the connectors (no they arent 6mm or 3mm) so here they are. I know the smaller 6mm connector has threads 1mm appart and will fit an M6x1.0 nut. The M10 nut I had on hand didnt fit the 10mm connector so I printed out nuts in various thread sizes until I found the one that fit the best. Of the nuts I printed, the M10x1.0 (meaning 1.0mm thread distance/size) fit the best.     • Good tolerance, quality materials. Better than the OEM.
The tubing has much better tolerance vs the one that came with my Ender 3 Pro. The original bowden has quite a bit of slop, these are much better and the hole appears to be perfectly centered. Note, the tubing come fairly tightly rolled and didn't readily relax after I took off the ties securing them. I put them in the oven for 10 minutes at around 250F and they straightened right out. The fittings both use metal fingers to really grab the tubing, unlike some of the cheap ones that use plastic fingers and slip. ... show more

There's a lot of resistance to these tubes. The fittings are fine, but get a higher quality PTFE, if that's why you're buying this set. If the rest of your setup is super smooth, it may not be an issue, but if you're already contending with some resistance (say from they way your spools are dispensed, or a slightly clogged hotend) the extra drag will completely shut you down. ... show more

    • The hardware is good, not sure about the tubing! -this doesn't appear to be Capricorn
I'm giving 4 stars because I like having the extra hardware and I didn't pay much for it. I had intended to have extra Capricorn Bowden tube, but this stuff doesn't seem to be Capricorn -it isn't as smooth and doesn't seem to quite have the dimensions (the PLA doesn't slide as smoothly) so I'm not using it on my printer. I may make a PLA feed-box and use it for that, or just chalk it up to not being thorough on my research. The connectors, however, seem first-rate, so they go into my spare parts bins. I need to have extra Capricorn tubing, however (accept NO substitutes!). ... show more

    • This is an insane deal...AMAZING
The stock ender 3 Couplers and PTFE Tube and even the Capricorn Couplers and PTFE Tube, that everyone says to be the best, are garbage in comparison to the ones here. The couplers have a built-in lock system, so no need for those weird microscopic clips to lock the PTFE tube in the coupler. The PTFE Tube functions well and I have not noticed any problems with it. Overall, this is a really good deal because there are 5 high-quality PTFE tubes and a bunch of high-quality couplers for the same price or even cheaper than the ones sold by Creality and Capricorn. ... show more

    • 5 pieces is inaccurate, in a good way
It comes with 5 pieces of tubing, and 10 of each end, in case you need the same end on both. The tubing is also twice as long as I needed for my Ender 3, so effectively, I got 10 sets! The ends are also very nice quality, getting a good bite on the tubing.
