Instructions： The ender 3 build plate replacement is divided into two parts: the form of A+B - Part A: The top is a matte surface (the same as other stickers), and the back is magnetic (the interaction with the front of Part B plays an attractive role) - Part B: The top is magnetic (with the adsorption under the A part), the back is the 3M adhesive (posted on the printer platform, which plays a fixed role) Description: Easy removal 3D printing platform for PLA and PLA-based materials. To use it, simply stick the bottom plate onto your build plate and start printing, peel up the top plate with finished prints, then peel off the top plate from the prints.     • Magnet is strong, but rotation does matter for good adhesion
Idk what everyone meant by the magnet isn't strong, because mine is arguably too strong. It is actually a little difficult to finagle into place. The glue was legitimate 3M glue that was quite tacky but I was able to peel off to readjust. The only downside is that it's rated just under PETG bed temps, but hopefully printing at that temp just weakens the magnet on this monster some. Also directionality on the matt for the magnet is important so I would double check that when you're installing if you choose to buy this. ... show more

I'm a newbie to 3D printing. I just purchased a Silhouette Alta Plus. I like the machine, unfortunately, the disc is made of acrylic and is covered with a sticker. It is hard to remove the object after printing. I used a glue stick and/or hair spray. They didn't help. I found out a different brand using an adhesive magnetic bed. I ordered it. I cut them so they could fit on my machine and I re-calibrated it. I love it! No more pulling extra muscles to remove the object from the disc. The object sticks very well and it's easy to remove.     • Prints snap off extremely easy!!!
Loved-not having to chisel prints off the surface when completed. (Loved, loved, loved) Not loved-1st couple of prints needed glue stick to fortify the initial print to stick to the print surface. Quick fix and back to (Loved, loved, loved). This bed bends twice as much as the original so the prints just click off. For the price, this is THE way to go!     • Wrong magnetic force but works great as a mat
ok I changed my review. At first I Gabe this two stars because it does NOT magnetically attract to the current mat on the ender 3 pro. I wasn’t going to use it however I was in a pickle so I used clips to hold it down and went to printing and it’s thicker than the normal mat that comes with the ender 3 meaning it holds up way better. My prints stick to it yet pop off when done. I’m actually about to order another for my other printer. So I moved it up to 4 stars! Would be 5 if it was truly magnetic! ... show more

    • Exactly the same as original--that's a good thing
I've been very happy with the magnetic bed on my Ender 3 Pro. Adhesion is excellent, though with time printed skirts tend to leave ghosts of themselves embedded in the textured finish. Unsightly, but it might actually improve adhesion to a small extend. Creality warns against operating bed temperatures above 80°C to preserve the magnetic properties of the bed material. A couple of youtubers have been running it at 100°C for ABS and claim it has had no effect on magnetic properties of the bed material. I'm going to be working with ABS for a project soon and wanted to have a spare in case they're wrong. Which of course is impossible. If it's on youtube, it must be correct, right? Edit: I said in the heading that this one is exactly like the original. However, I just tried it on my Ender 3 Pro and it's not quite the same. I installed the bed material on the original magnetic surface and it isn't as strongly magnetic. That's not necessarily a bad thing. The original is too strong and difficult to put back when removing it. It always wants to install a few mm too far to the right because of the way the magnets are aligned, I guess. The new one doesn't have this problem as the attraction isn't as strong. It goes where I want it. It's still strong enough to stay in place and lay very flat.     • Nope nope nope nope nope - not for an Ender 5!
I am one of the few, it seems, that likes the original printing mat for the Ender 5. I was happy to see what looked like an in-kind replacement. It is not. (1) the texture is different - this mat is smoother. (2) you can't just stick the top mat on the way you can the original. The magnet doesn't work! As as result, you have to either clip the top mat to the bed (which kind of defeats the purpose of having something magnetic) or you have to scrape off the original under-mat that sits on top of the bed. Don't know about anyone else, but mine is stuck on there good and hard. After all the trouble I went to to get my base as solid, braced, and level as possible, I'm not about to beat it up trying to scrape something off of it. So back to the old mat (it's beat up, since it's the one I learned to print on, but at least it sticks!) until I figure out a better option - because this ain't it! ... show more

    • Bought 3 times, 3rd one was different. In a bad way.
So I've bought 3 of these, as they wear out and crack over time, which is to be expected of course. The first 2 were fantastic, I actually liked them better than the one that came with my Ender 3 pro. Adhesion was good, very flexible, easy removals, they worked great. Then I got the 3rd one... I immediately saw that it was different when opening it. The surface was smother, and the magnet was not as strong and it felt lighter than the last 2. After the first print I realized the differences were more than cosmetic. The plastic surface was easily marred by the print, leaving an impression of the print even as the printer was dead level. Removal was also much more difficult than with previous versions, with the print sticking to the surface. The item printed was one that I had printed many times over several build surfaces with no issue. I'm not sure why the item was changed, but my hope is that it is changed back. At this point I'm going to order from another seller in hopes that they have an older version because this one is less than usable. ... show more
