    • used it to rescue a mechanical pencil
I have 0.5mm mechanical pencils which sometimes get blocked so that the pencil lead won't advance through the tip. I used one of the 0.5mm needles in this kit to fix it. I had to clip off the sharp end of the needle first, otherwise it just gets wedged in with the graphite. After my first attempt, I also used a dab of diatomaceous earth as an abrasive when using the needle to clean out the tube, and twisted it around for a good minute or so. I like the variety of sizes. All the needles are nice and flexible. Great price. I actually used these to make an espresso WDT tool. These are perfect. I will probably buy a little emery paper to soften the tips, they are sharp!

With how sharp the tips are, i can now run a acupuncture and 3d printing business all at the same time:) haha All kidding aside, they are smooth, sharp and do bend. The pictures do show this, so it should not be a surprise. If you wrap some metal pipe cleaner around one of them, you can use it to clean the gears of multiple motors, not just a 3d printer. I can see these working great for airsoft, 3d printers, spur gears, coffe grinders, rc motors, drones, etc etc. Please be mindful when using these around childeren, they do strike curiousity in those young minds and could result in being used as spears, bolts, or swords. ... show more

    • You can never have too many tools.
This product is great. I only needed one of the needles to help with clogging, but I decided to get this kit just in case I needed more tools down the road. I've used the tweezers here and there for other projects. All in all, this has been a great buy.

As other reviews have mentioned these are too short. If I stick it in the top of the hot end, it is too short to go through the noozle. The case and tweezers are good. The "drills" are welp made. But too short if you need to clear a blockage from above. Not worth returning.

    • Work great on carburetor jets
Sheerness, Thickness & Warmth.....not really appropriate; but, this is a great product at a very reasonable price. Very strong wires (possibly titanium) and great for reaming carburetor jets when rebuilding old parts. Actual size is a little off but they still worked great.
