Ordered these after watching a news clip of people trying to get someone out of a burning car. They pounded on the windows to no avail. A guy walked up with one of these and broke the window with little effort. Unconscious man was pulled from the car and survived. It also cuts seat belts. Haven't needed to use this product yet but it is ready to go on our keychain. Also happy to have found that it is functionable under water. Saw a reviewed who spoke about it in their video. Definitely made it a go when I realized that would be very important in an emergency.

    • How to break the window ? This thing seems very hard to push in and pop out the internal tool

Will it actually break a car side window? I watched the video still not very clear. This is very hard to tell. It has the plastic cover, the instuction said push hard and quick, I tried on a book cover, I don't see how the internal tool can pop out and actually break the window. The outside black head is made of plastic and not pointy at all... No way to test the window breaking safety. The seat belt cover should work. Honestly I will still have to buy a real emergency car window breaker tool that has a metal tool I can see with no plastic head covering it and no need to push hard to pop out the pointy piece inside. ... show more

This is a good tool to have in case emergency. It arrived in good condition and everything seemed to be functioning correctly. I hope it doesn’t ever have to be used but good to have for peace of mind
