I am 5’4, 130 lbs. This is the first fitted dress I’ve ever purchased. I bought the size small in both the black & dark pink colors. They fit great! The material is nice & somewhat stretchy, not too thick & not too thin. I feel the pink may fit a little more snug than the black, but not much at all. The dress is very comfortable & not sheer what so ever. I purchased for a cruise we are going on this summer. I’ve seen some reviews that say you must wear shaper underneath, but it’s not necessary. I’ve also read a couple of reviews that the dress is hard to stay in place at the bottom. I have no trouble with this at all. The dress is double lined so it helps smooths you out. I am a 34/36/B. If I were any larger in the bust area, I would probably purchase the medium for some extra room. I highly recommend this dress. I am not a hour glass shape, I am more of an athletic build. 5’3 133lbs 34DDD Small/medium top, Medium 8 bottom. I ordered a Small. Initially ordered a medium, but the waist was too big. This dress is comfy & easy to throw on to run errands or go out for a brunch date. But I would not say this is a fancy dinner type dress. The material reminds me of “day time chill but cute.” It is a little warm with the second layer underneath but not miserably hot. The dress rode up my thighs more than I’d prefer - but I was doing A LOT of walking stairs. I loved how this dress looked with a Jean jacket around my waist and sneakers. It’s not really see through, but the back side is a bit thin. I felt better & more comfortable wearing thin shape wear shorts. Recommend for sure! ... show more

I love this dress! It's flattering, comfortable, and can be worn for many different occasions. The dress is also well made. Sizing is as stated and the prcie was appropriate. This is the type of dress that you may pass on purchasing because it may not look special. But you are wrong! This is such an awesome dress! I received an army green color dress in size large. It fit so nicely! I usually wear a medium (I'm 5 feet and about 135 lbs...a little curvy). However, if you want this dress to be really form fitting, you can get a smaller size. I like the larger size on me since I do not like anything too tight fitting. Although I am short and clothing can be longer on me, I think this dress was a perfect length (about an inch below my knee). And it is very comfortable too. Very soft to the touch and it feels good on your skin. It is a great dress to dress up or dress down: sandals, wedges, heels...whatever you feel like wearing with it! It is fully lined (polyester lining) so it appears to not be sheer and has some 'weight' to the fabric. It also has a scallop detail at the bottom of the hemline, with ruching on both sides of the dress. This makes the fit even better. The dress has a tank style upper top (simple style). The dress itself was nice, thick material and not see through at all, but still decently light weight and breathable. I am 5’6”-5’7” ish and weigh an athletic 140+ and got a size small. I wear anywhere between 4-7 or small-medium depending on brand. The ruching on one side I found flattering and made me look curvier than I am without being over the top. I found the high neckline good looking. I ordered the rust orange colour and it was much brighter than I had anticipated. I think this dress would be flattering on just about any size and shape, the ruching helps conceal any minor dislikes that you may have.
