I took a chance on buying a couple spools of Simthread to finish up embroidery blocks for a quilt. Used it for a large design and was very happy that I did not have to adjust the tension at all on my machine. Doing the same design with same stabilizer, same fabric, same bobbin but different thread I had to adjust the tension each time. I did not have to touch the tension at all with simthread.
