    I love this little lamp. It is very small, maybe only 6 to 8 inches tall. It’s perfect for my nightstand. And I use small light bulbs in the lamp. The color of blue is very pretty and matches well. When the lamp is on, it gives the room a soft glow. I’m glad that I made this purchase.

    Very small, but works as a great little night light on our kitchen counter. Only complaint is finding correct bulb that is round and not elongated. The bulbs are pricey since they need to be LED, candelabra base, small round bulb not elongated or it will rise above shade.

    Just a perfect lamp for a small bedside table. This lamp is a nice neutral, 'sage' type color, it sits true and straight, does not seem cheap or inferior in any way, and best of all, (IMHO) it has a little vintage-'60s look about it. Can't go wrong with the price, either. I like the design because it's low, and stable, and would not be as easy to topple over as other lamps are prone to do. Would definitely buy it again :) Also, those larger bulbs on the old-fashioned Christmas lights fit perfectly in this lamp if you like a little color/ambiance in the room. I use a simple 4 watt bulb, and it's cozy as heck :) ... show more

      • Lovely to look at, but not suitable for heavy usage!

    I bought three of these little lights in 2015 for rarely used guest rooms in our house. They are tiny, which is just what I wanted, fit perfectly in the spots where I needed a small lamp, and are very classic looking. However, that's where the compliments end. The shade is held in place by the bulb - you put the shade on, then screw in the bulb. They take special small bulbs with a small base like flame chandelier bulbs, but shorter and round, which I ordered when I bought the lamps as someone else mentioned. These bulbs are not very sturdy and the shade fits so loosely that with any contact at all, it tips off its base and hits the bulb. This has caused the bulb to break off from its base so the light doesn't work and is somewhat hazardous as well. Over the 3 years I had these lamps, all 3 of them have had this issue at least once and they in rooms that only get used 3-4 times each year. I have now shifted to regular sturdy flame-shaped bulbs which stick out of the top of the shade a little but seem more able to withstand bumps from the shade. I am considering completely replacing them, this is too much effort and the bulbs are not cheap! Choose wisely. ... show more

    This lamp is perfect! It is EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED! I needed a very small lamp to fit on a wall shelf in my son's nursery. Nothing too bright, just enough so it wasn't pitch black for my baby boy during rocking and feedings, 40 watts does just the job just right! I've seen a lot of complaints that people thought they were buying a full sized lamp. It clearly states in the title that this is a "Mini Lamp". If you scroll down to the "Technical Details" (which you should always do if you are buying anything online) it says that the height of the lamp is 9.4 inches and that the width of the lamp shade is 5.5 inches. This worked perfectly for me as my wall shelf is only 7 inches wide. To give you a better idea of the size, it is about 1/2" taller than a Little Golden Book. I have also read another silly complaint claiming that the lamp shade itself is a fire hazard because it comes with plastic over it that could melt. It does indeed have plastic to protect it while being shipped, but it also has a sticker instructing you to "remove plastic before use". All in all this is a very good little lamp for someone who needs something tiny, slightly dim, and inexpensive. ... show more
