I just love this little lamp! It's super cute, gives off a great light and did I say it just looks so good! The size is exactly what I was expecting. The only con I can mention is I originally bought it to use on my hubby's nightstand, if I liked it, I was going to buy another matching for myself. We were unable to use these on the nightstands because since it's a glass globe the light was very bright and my hubby couldn't stand that bright of a light on his nightstand right by his face at night. So I moved it to the living room end table. Itbworks perfectly there and the brightness works perfectly there. Love this lamp... Wish I could get more for the nightstands lol ... show more

A great lamp for areas where you don't want or need a large lamp with shade. It did take me several tries to get the right bulb for it, since the shade is clear and most bulbs don't work well without feeling like you're being blinded. I wanted an LED bulb to conserve energy but all of them were too bright. I ended up buying this one (ANYQOO T45 Edison Tubular Style Bulb , Vintage Antique Light Bulb ,E27 E26 Base ,110-130V 40W ,Warm white , Tubular Clear Glass, Filament Bulb For Home Light Fixtures Decorative, Dimmable), https://amazon.com/dp/B01MRZMIFA/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1 and adding an inline lamp dimmer to control the brightness. The bulb I purchased is gorgeous through the clear glass and being able to lower the wattage makes it more energy-efficient. I bought this lamp because I like the "mid-century modern" vibe it emits. I bought it in chrome, and it's pretty well constructed, but I do have a couple of beefs. First of all, the packaging sucked. It came in a butt-ton of styrofoam, which, okay, I get, need to protect the glass, but it was really brittle styrofoam that crumbled and is sort of everywhere now. I'm still finding bits of it days later in the most unexpected places; behind my couch, in my bed, under my eyelids. It's a real issue. Second, there was a sticker on the top of the lamp, on the chrome, that told you what kind of bulb to use or whatever. And that's good, because I don't want to start a fire with an improper bulb, of course, but the issue is, this is one of those really sticky stickers, and although I've pulled it off, there is sticker gunk on the lamp now. And I suppose I could razor-blade it off or something, but honestly, should I have to razor-blade up my brand new lamp? Eesh. Anyway, this is a good lamp. Just beware of invasive styrofoam and sticker gunk. ... show more

Great lamp for the value! I have been looking for this style lamp but didn't want to spend $40+ on it. This is a great lamp with a super sturdy base. The glass is awesome and seems to be resistant to finger prints. The switch is on the cord which may make it a little tricky if youre putting this on a desk and don't want the wire showing; however, I just command-stripped it to the side of my desk so I could access it with minimal cord showing.
