I was astounded that it has so many features for the price: Large, clear, easy-to-read LED numbers, several brightness selections, multiple color choices, 12- or 24-hour format, alarm with snooze, and comes complete with USB cord AND adapter! The only thing I was not expecting is that it does not have a chargeable battery and has to remain plugged into the wall outlet to work, but the cord is long enough to be practical. It does take batteries for back-up in the event of a power failure, so I imagine those would suffice if needed for travel, etc. Was not expecting such a great clock for the reasonable price! My husband sleeps like the dead. We’ve tried everything except the alarm clock prank that slaps you. 😂 He got tired of getting in trouble for not waking, so I found him this alarm clock. It worked! He even likes the way it lights up, even though he’s color blind and can only accurately see one shade. It’s bright, but not in a distracting way. The clock is small, is easy to read, easy to set, and is loud enough to wake my husband, so in my book, that’s a win! 😁 Great value indeed! ... show more

This is a great little clock with lots of features. However, I bought it because it has backup batteries in case of a power outage. WELL! those batteries RETAIN the time but do not DISPLAY the time. The display only works when plugged into the electrical outlet. Also, the ALARM DOES NOT WORK on the batteries! only when plugged into the electrical outlet. So if you have a power outage during the night that lasts past your alarm time... sleep on friend! ... show more

I wanted a simple large display alarm clock for under $10 & this meets my needs. I don't need sounds, radio or anything else, just a clock that shows time. At first I had the pulsating neon color display which soon started to annoy me when I would wake up at the middle of the night. I bought this alarm clock for my son cause somedays he wakes up to early and I’d appreciate it if he got up no later than 7:00 (he’s 8) he really loves having it it’s a beautiful addition to his room I love that it’s not to bright or loud of an alarm. It’s a decent size to let you read it clearly without taking up to much room. The back up AAA batteries come in handy.
