We bought two of these and they were both easy to assemble and no parts were missing. Haven’t used them yet (they are for two foreign exchange students arriving next week) but they feel sturdy enough. Between myself and my wife it took about 40 minutes to assemble each one. The only complaint I have is the fasteners are made with some sort of soft metal alloy. They are not solid steel. In tightening the bolts I accidentally stripped out a few of the hex heads. So, go easy on the torque. A tip for those of you who say the fasteners loosen over time, there are a couple general suggestions that I have. 1) After tightening go back around and re-tighten. Similar to the lug nuts on a tire when changing! And 2) You can always use Loc-Tite. ... show more

The paint was chipping right out of the bag, kind of frustrating. But you get what you pay for. It will suit its purpose for now. Update: seller contacted offered to replace the parts that were chipped, it would be too much to take apart the bed to do so. They offered a 10%refund for the inconvenience. It looks nice. Easy to put together. Instructions were clear. I bought it for my 10 year old son who is about 100 lbs. He likes it but has a tendency to swan dive into bed and you can see it isn't very sturdy. As long as he doesn't rough house on it it will be fine. I think it might be more suitable for smaller kids. Also if you have a box spring and mattress the box spring make it too high. Just the mattress will do on this frame. ... show more

Definitely not a platform bed. I’m 5’1” and the tallest point is under my butt. It was easy to put together though! I’m gonna but stilts to put it on. Honestly it reminds me of a really fancy toddlers bed

The bed slides right off on either side. The bars are level with the bars around the bed. So you lean up against the bed or too many people (anymore than 1) lean on the bed and the bed goes sliding all over the place.

I love the look of the bed.I bought this metal twin bed for my 9 yr old son and it fits him perfectly.Installation is simple, only need to bring their own tools 30 minutes to complete.recommend.

Nice bed for the price! It was easy to assemble, although the instructions were vague at times. However it was a one man job and the bed can hold a 110lb person, 1 80lb dog, and 1 50lb dog, so it it's quite sturdy!

After the first two days, I noticed it started to wobble, then I noticed the bent slats. It can not possibly to made from steel! My son is less than 40 pounds, no way should his weight be able to bend the slats. Very poor quality!!! The bent slats will eventually destroy your mattress. I couldn't even completely disassemble it for the return. I'm soooooo happy that amazon gave me my money back. ... show more
