  • True SFX
True SFX form factor, turned out to be smaller than I expected. For the wattage and efficiency rating, this is a very compact PSU, exactly what I was looking for. The cable lengths are strange, the EPS 12v is loooong but the ATX 24-pin is relatively short. I've had it running for a week and a half so far without problems, though I'm currently only running it at half capacity max. Will be upgrading my PC with more power hungry components in the next week or two. I like that it does not have a "fanless" mode, which caused problems in previous Silverstone models. The fan still spins at low loads, but is virtually silent. ... show more

  • SST-SX700-PT 700W no ATX to SFX adapter
2 May 2020 Have not installed yet due to the fact there was no ATX to SFX adapter...... very disappointing! Will update once I get it installed and running. Addition June 3rd. system has been running for a week. powersupply is quiet and running great.

  • A very good option to the overpriced Corsair 750w
The difference of 50w doesn't really mean that much so this unit can do same job. The cables are a little thick, but I managed to make them fold and disappeared inside of a very small sandwich style case. This powers an I7 10700 (125W), RTX 2070 super, 32gb ram, 2gb nvme. The noise level is not louder than the one of the gpu or cpu, and I have my pc next to me on top of the desk. ... show more

  • Works perfect and whisper-silent in a Ghost S1 with a 5800X and 6800XT!
Keeps the demanding hardware in this teeny tiny case fed with clean, stable, delicious power. Virtually silent at all loads. Cables are a bit long for an SFX PSU, but most people end up getting braided or silicone custom length cables (check the e of bay, they're worth the $50 or so). Handles a 5800X and an unlocked 6800XT, both heavily overclocked, without breaking a sweat. ... show more

  • Quiet Small and works
Installed no problem. Just used same modular cables from my old Silverstone SFX PU that died. Whisper quiet.

  • Efficient and compact, but loud and with stiff cables.
The Corsair SF750 was the PSU I was initially hoping to get, but with that out of stock everywhere or ridiculously marked up due to the low supply, I ended up buying this Silverstone unit instead. Like all SFX and Platinum PSUs, it's nice and compact and highly efficient, so if you're looking for something purely functional to get the job done, this is fine. However, the fan on this is unbearably loud in my otherwise silent system. Having just set up my system the other day, I thought my CPU or GPU fans were ramping up out of nowhere and it was driving me crazy. On a whim, I held the fan blade of the PSU still when I powered up the system, and lo and behold, the PC was dead silent. Also, I put the PSU in an NR200. It fits just fine, but because these cables are ridiculously stiff, cable management in this otherwise relatively roomy ITX case was a completely PITA. I had to really press down, bend, and over tighten the strap to keep things in place or into a position that worked. Given how reputable Silverstone as a brand is, I had much higher hopes for this than what I ultimately experienced. In all likelihood, I'll probably try to return it ASAP and see if I can snag an SF750 somewhere, or at this point, even an SF600 instead. It's almost 2021, and a "basic" feature like 0 RPM operation should be given for a company as popular as Silverstone. ... show more

  • Superb
Very compact and powerful, though if you are going to buy this for a mid to large chassis you will need a mount adapter. Can't go wrong with that platinum rating.

  • Very quiet
So far I don't have any issues . it's quiet it fits in my NR200 case with ease and cables are flexible enough to manage
