Ok let me start off saying i really like this ice maker its fast and the catch basket is big compared to another ice maker i had before this one, not overly loud, and produces 2 sizes ice, large and small..it arrive on time, set up was a no brainer Now id like to address some of the negative reviews about machines that stopped working after 4 or 5 months, well, mine did the same, and of course i thought it was going to have to go in the trash but after some experimenting this is what i came up with... I ran the machine continually, i bagged up cubes and never shut the machine off, well when it stopped freezing and making cubes but the motor continued to run i gave some thought to it and decided i wasnt going to throw it out just yet so i left it unplugged on the counter for 2 days, and then i decided to try one more time, plugged it back in, filled it with water and turned it on and BOOM within 6 or 7 minutes cubes dropped into the catch basket! I was so happy because i love this machine, so my conclusion is you should not leave it running for long periods, store cubes in ziplock bags and give the machine a break by unplugging it for 24hrs or less, then fill the resevoir to max level and turn on. Also i might add my tap water causes lime easily so i do not use it in the machine, i buy bottled water for it....i hope this is helpful. ... show more

I am very happy with this Ice Maker, It makes ice fairly quick. I turn it on when the ziplock bags in the freezer (previously filled with this ice) get low, making sure that the water area is full. Fill a gallon ziplock bag or three, then turn it off. It is great, if you get low on the water or the basket is full, the machine will turn itself off automatically. I use ice all year and so far this has saved me from having to fill trays that mysteriously end up empty when I want ice. If I somehow end up not having ice when I want it, it only takes a few minutes to have some. It has become my favorite appliance. ... show more

Our ice maker in our fridge stops working periodically and is a major inconvenience to try and fix it because you practically have to crawl inside of the freezer to put the lever back on. And even when it does work, it never keeps up when we have guests. So I bought this table top version…we always have enough ice now. It’s quick, easy to use, and cubes are decent sizes. I don't have a lot of counter space. This doesn't take up much space. So far, I really like. It's easy to empty water if you're not using it for a while. My old had the plug on the side & was a pain to empty & clean out. It makes ice quickly and I love that the bullet cubes fit into my water bottle.

This ice maker works great makes ice fast just plug it in add water and turn it on that's it and the automatic shut off if it runs low on water it shuts down so no damage is done it also shuts down if the ice basket starts to over fill so no ice falls out and if you don't use all the ice as it melts the water goes back into the tank to reuse and keeps making ice no waste ice on demand it's also quiet and yes I recommend it the perfect gift you can also keep gathering up ice out of the basket and putting it in freezer bags and always have plenty of ice on hand great for tail gateing to take it with you gallon jugs of water a power inverter or generator you have ice for camping cold drinks or whatever you might need ice for ... show more

This is a nice portable ice maker, really cranks out the ice! Is quiet, easy to use, makes two sizes of cubes, keeps us from buying and storing bulky frozen bags from the store! I like the model ,love the two sizes of ice bullets it makes. I use it about every three days. I make up enough ice to put in a gallon freezer bag and use that for about three days then make more. It sounds like a refrigerator running but doesn’t bother me . Love the ice,
