I bought these to replace a set of stainless steel covers I have been using for a few years. There was nothing wrong with the old ones, but I thought the black would be less conspicuous than the stainless steel ones. They come folded, so getting them to lay flat and getting the piece on the bottom to sit between the stove and counter took some time and patience. However, the next day, the fold crease had flattened out and they were well situated. They don't move around like the stainless steel ones did. Since they are silicon, they "stick" in place. They are a little harder to clean than the stainless, because the dish cloth doesn't run over them as smoothly as it does over metal. But they come clean and that's what really matters. These gap fillers really do help to keep food and drips from falling between the stove and cabinets, which can otherwise only be cleaned by moving the unit out. I gave this 4 Stars because the material is solid. However, you must slice it to fit your area. I don't have the patience, precision or cutting knife for that.

(Ignore the dirtiness, we just cooked😂) If you can see at the top of the picture, we cut it so it would fit passed the back of the oven. It helps not getting crumbs and food through the crack. But I still have to move it to clean. I’d rather have a metal one that is harder and conceals the edges more, where food or crumbles can’t get underneath. But it’s good material and stays put 👍🏼 ... show more

These were sturdy and can be molded to the length u need but unfortunately our stove is slightly lower than the counter. So, it’s not a crisp cover. I’m not sure it’s going to work for me or not. They arrived on time and wipe off easily.

They fill the gaps well and are flexible enough that I can let the excess curve up along the back of the stove instead of cutting it off. They’ll be intact for the next kitchen I have. They’re also easy to clean

Another thing that makes me think why didn't I buy this sooner? Seeing all the splatters and crumbs that lands on it shows me how much I've already kept from falling through that crack.
