The silicone cover fits good doesn't seem to be blocking airflow and making the unit overheat at all, the facial silicone cover does feel good when you initially put it on but after a few hours of wearing it you gotta kinda peel it off your face but up until that point it's comfy and cool. The controller covers feel nice other than the leather ish style hand straps.. they aren't bad they are just an odd feeling vs other silicone straps ive had before. The tempered glass camera and depth sensor covers....TINY and kind of hard to put on. And it's kind of hard to keep them on flush without a bubble underneath its kind of like putting on a phones screen protector but because of its size and rigidity it's hard to push out the air under it and get a good seal on it. Sometimes, products made of this silicone material can be a bit of toss-up. This one is a good one. The material does come out with some of the slick coating from the factory that wears off after some use, but remains fresh l, soft, and smooth feeling without becoming sticky or glossy. Doesn’t attract fuzzies or pull hair. Once applied, the Oculus still fits comfortably in the carrying case. It took a little bit of time to get on, as it does require the user to disassemble a lot of the Oculus that we didn’t even know you could remove. It comes with a lot of extra protectors, which were appreciated. The controller covers are great, as they help prevent scuffs and dings when kids inevitably go outside boundaries and whack walls. Bought for my son to go with his Meta Quest 3 and wow! What a response!! After a somewhat tricky install, the MQ3 looked like it was dressed up to paaaaar-tay. I re-boxed it, wrapped it up, and when he opened it… my kid went NUTS! He loves galaxy print and was convinced I’d had his Quest custom made just for him. It was awesome. I was worried it might be flimsy or cheap but it really gives kind of a soft-touch, almost luxury feel to the device. It’s held up beautifully and the print is still vibrant after over a month of use. All of the kids in his friend group have a Quest, but fawn over his because of how “cool” it looks. The handles are adjustable for large and small hands and are extremely comfortable, playing it without the silicone covers is actually unbearable after playing with them on. It doesn’t seem to impact the game play like some other brands’ reviews say, overall I’m thoroughly impressed! ... show more

    • Frustrating Experience, Non-Charging Fit

I recently purchased this, hoping to enhance the overall experience and durability of my VR headset. Unfortunately, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment when I discovered that the rubber fit doesn't charge when placed on the official docking station. The fit itself seems to be well-designed in terms of its physical construction and material quality. It fits snugly around the headset and provides a good level of protection. However, the critical flaw of not allowing the headset to charge while docked is very unfortunate. I tried multiple times to adjust the fit and ensure it wasn't a problem with the installation, but the issue persisted. This led to a frustrating cycle of having to remove the rubber fit every time I wanted to charge the headset. However, the controllers did fit and charge well enough with the sleeves on. While the idea of this rubber fit and protective material for the Quest 3 is promising, this particular product falls short due to its inability to charge the headset when docked. You can still plug it in and charge the normal way, but the incompatibility is what’s turning me away from more consistent use. ... show more
