The media could not be loaded. I have been shopping for a collapsable cup and never expected I could find one with a lid. This cup goes way beyond my expectations and now that I have it, I would have been happy to pay more. I bought two of them. The design is just superb, all these little details, like the interior cup oz measurements, so you know how much liquid you're adding. The way the cup lid fits just perfectly. The way the little stopper works and fits. Even the way the place that you put your lips on is beveled just nicely. The attention to details in this design are something that I couldn't even find at REI and all the other expensive stores. The addition of the plastic harder ring around the top makes it easy to grasp (you can avoid touching hot sides) and make it sturdier for putting the top on. It also has a nice design effect. Totally delighted with this cup, it goes above and beyond what I was hoping to find. I'm glad I didn't purchase a different one. The instructions say to boil it for 5 minutes to remove silicone smell, which I did, worked perfectly. I'm sipping coffee out of it right now. Even the little hole vent so it comes out smoothly when you are drinking, is just perfectly thought out. I am an engineer and wow, whoever designed this cup, really did a superb job.     • Size is only 8 oz not 12 oz - or at least I thought that was true

Product works well but it is only 8 oz, not 12 oz. I now see that the cup is marked 12 oz at the top rim. I would not fill this cup to the top with hot liquid. I have used it for hot coffee but fill it to about 10 oz. It fits well in my bowling bag and keeps me from having to use styrofoam cups.

We bought these mugs for a 2 week trip to Indonesia. We loved being able to make tea in our room in the morning. What I love about this silicone travel mug is that it has a wide base so it's very sturdy. I also love that it comes with a little velvet travel bag so the mug always stays clean when you put it away. Lid is also very tight and secure but not too hard to take off. We used these for a trip to Europe with a collapsable travel kettle. I love that they collapse and are larger than the typical tiny coffee cups you get in Europe (if they give you one in your room at all). That said, the soft silicone gets very hot to the touch with coffee. It badly needs a handle. The white hard plastic rings get less hot but are very awkward to hold. When I had a saucer, I held the cup up with that. For our next trip, I'm hoping to find something better for hot liquids. ... show more

I use one for traveling… like hating the flimsy cups in some hotels, or getting water from a fountain, or even just storing toothbrush and paste on the counter. The second one is good to go in my watercolor kit to have something to wash my brushes in. Would be great for a quick drink for a pet, too.
