I had high hopes for this stand and spent twice as much as the cheaper options. I wanted the controller docking charger vs usb charging, and those work well. The cooling fan now screams when you turn it on, have to smack it or turn it on and off a few times. I have less than 10 hours of run time on this unit. We finally "upgraded" our PS4 and got a PS5 (slim) for Christmas. Now that we had two PlayStations both of my twins could play together and play with their friends. Then my son wanted to get a headset for the PS4 so he could "talk" with his friends. I like how the PS5 controller replaces the need for a headset, but the biggest advantage of the new controller is that mom and dad can hear what is being said by the people they are playing with. We felt this was more of a safety issue....we wanted the ability to hear what everyone is saying (bullying, predators, etc). Why do I mention this for a review of a stand.... we ended up getting a second PS5. I ordered two different cooling stands. The 'SIKEMAY PS5 Slim Stand Cooling Station for Playstation 5 Slim Console' is a decent stand, with some negatives compared to our other stand. I like how it has slots for games on the sides, a cooling fan, extra USB ports, and the integrated charging spots for the controllers. The downsides: - the front controller charging dock doesn't work - you must turn ON the fan EVERY time you power up the PS. I find it annoying that after powering off the PS you have to turn the fan back on. I have to remind my son to turn it on. (the other stand turns on when the PS powers up). The console just sits on the stand. This could be a pro or con. The other stand I have screws into the PS which gives me a piece of mind that it won't fall over if it gets hit. ... show more

This cooling station really does a good job of preventing my PS5 from overheating. I feel as if this will increase the longevity of my PS5, which is important because it's such an expensive commodity. It fits my PS5 perfectly, and charges my controllers quickly. It's nice coming back to a pair of fully charged controllers every time I power up the console. The screws in the station provide stability, so I don't have to worry about the console falling over when using this cooling station. Overall, a nice accessory that enhances the life of my console. This does an excellent job at keeping the la5 from overheating expecially when it gets played for hours on end. The charging docks carry a super fast charge so it’s easy the change out when the controller is getting low.
