  • Great product BUT you need the RIGHT caulk gun
First Synergy was very helpful when some packages didnt tutn up. They didnt hesitate to send replacements. Great experience shopping with them and willdo so again. Now the product, this crack weld is awesome, but YOU MUST have a high ratio caulk gun 18:1 or higher and it must be sturdy and wellbuilt. I used with a regular caulk gun first and it was difficult like what otehr reviewers have said. But use a high ratio caulk gun and everything goes as smooth as silk. No hardening of the capseal before you're done and the high ratio just keeps on kicking the capseal out. And using it with the epoxy is just as simple. So RULE No 1: get a high ratio caulk gun trust me all your headaches will go away and you will simply love this product. Bonds well and works like a charm - great product Sika. ... show more

  • Good on the surface, but the missing details make it difficult to use.
The kit includes everything you need except a caulking gun. The 1st step is a sort of sealer/adhesive. This has a very short working time, and is very thick. It's difficult to apply correctly as you are in a rush before it dries in the nozzle. The secondary step is the resin which is injected in the crack. Well, the nozzle is not threaded to the tube in the caulking gun and there is a great deal of pressure, so the nozzle will pop off if you turn the wrong way and resin then explodes all over the side of the wall and you. The products themselves might be the greatest in the world, but the application products are a failure. ... show more

  • Good product, but hard to use
This deserve a 3.5. This can save you a lot of money if you do yourself. Unfortunately, it is hard to use because it dries too fast and the CD with instructions are useless to counteract this.

  • The product dries to fast!
Dries before you can put the disk on the crack.

  • Pay attention to instructions and how all the parts are used.
Works great for fixing basement cracks.

  • Crack sealer epoxy sets up too fast.
No way you can work that fast as per their instructions, running a circular bead around each injection port. Epoxy was rock hard in 3 minutes. Maybe if you immediately run a bead over the crack installing the injection ports as you go with somebody helping you. Someone from Sika got back in touch with me. He told me to put the epoxy in a cooler to slow down the reaction. Well that should have been in the instructions. Already returned kits. Probable better off with kit that comes 2 part epoxy you mix yourself. ... show more
