How do you rate a light bulb, that lights? These bulbs are being used to replace two (2) GE bulbs that failed after 2.5 years (the were touted to last 22 years, still have some of the boxes in which I am storing the incandescents, that they replaced). Sigalux states that their's should last 3 years, which is more realistic. The GE Replacement bulbs would have cost 4X , what these costs so being practical I opted to the Siglux . The Siglux bulbs are significantly lighter in weight. They are the same diameter as the GEs and their output is equivalent. You really can't tell the difference. So on a cost/performance basis thus far I would rate them a good deal. The question is longevity . If they last 3 years I feel that I am ahead of the game. Lastly, both the Siglux and the GE bulbs are made in China. I gave them 4 stars for longevity. I would have preferred not rating that as they are just being placed into service. ... show more

Maybe if you only have one light in the ceiling. But 6 and half soft white, half daylight was too much. They are a good light bulb. Both the daylight and the soft white. But the daylight would be much better as an outside light for night time. The quality and price are great. I didn't return the daylight bulbs, I'm keeping them for outside. I purchased another box of soft white for my kitchen. The daylights were enough to give me a headache. The soft whites are fine. ... show more
