So then I bought some less expensive ones here on Amazon that I never could get to fit properly. Will you be better off getting the $10 ones that your great grandparents used to use because at least those I don't hear myself talking it turns up the volume in the room but not individual sound frequencies they are better than these these are awful Don't bother buying them then on top of it they don't tell you that there's wax filters that you're going to need to buy and replace but I haven't even been able to find those these are junk. They also have antennas that stick out of them that are going to break off really easy It doesn't matter how careful you are I have hair that I leave down or tuck behind my ear If it gets tangled in your hair is done I would not recommend buying these at all There is no quality of sound There is no easy use pushing a button doesn't mean easy use just because you can push the button doesn't mean it's going to sound decent They are not comfortable Like I said there's an antenna sticking out of them and it catches your voice more than it catches your family's voices I was hoping to hear my grandson nope just myself amplified TVs everything else and all I heard was myself and anything that he said cuz he has that very high pitched child voice It didn't come through and when it did it was tiny it was like somebody was messing with a radio station don't waste your money or time I'm already ticked off enough that I have to send these back get my $60 back get my money back and then the insurance I bought back and have somebody take them wherever Amazon wants him to take us in our area because we don't have any places in our town We have no UPS stores anymore ... show more

These don't compare to professional grade, but for $239 they do the trick. Very good amplification, sometimes too good. The volume control is strange; it works but you can't tell what the right volume level is until the feedback goes away. You have to learn how to not touch the volume control button when you're putting them in your ear. I have not found them to be noise-cancelling. I'm going to keep them, but I definitely am on the lookout for something better that will come along for the same price, or less. ... show more
