MAJOR TIP with assembly: Tighten the screws on the legs to no more than 20% prior to aligning the square frame to stabilize the legs. The legs have to be loose in order for the frame to fit!! If you tighten the legs fully, you’ll end up having to loosen each screw on the legs to fit that frame. I also sat on the couch and flipped the chair upside down on my lap so I could maneuver the pieces bc I was by myself. If you follow this tip, assembly is a breeze. ... show more

Stools are exactly what I was hoping for. The green velvet is beautiful, stools are sturdy and good quality. They were easy to assemble. Only a couple screws, one each on two different stools, could not go in as I believe the holes were missing and my handyman friend couldn’t figure out a way to fix it. It didn’t seem to affect the stability and functionality of the stools so I didn’t bother with trying to get them fixed or replaced. However, kudos to customer service for going out of the way to reach out to me to make sure I was ordering the correct height stools for my kitchen island. So I bought this set of 29 inch tall bar height chairs, received them today but they sent us the 24 inch tall counter height chairs which is why I’m currently leaving 2 stars. Am in the return process and when I receive the correct ones I will update my review. Otherwise, the chairs were of 5 star quality, really impressed with how well built they were and easy to put together. Again, once I get these returned and the correct ones here I will update my rating. Edit: I contacted Sidanli and explained what happened, Stanley was helpful in understanding my issue. The only reason I docked off a point is because they were really hard to build for 1 person. I couldn’t align the middle piece with the legs. These stools are perfect for my lower countertops. The green color was much better than I expected. It was relatively easy to assemble but the rounded square part was pretty hard to get into place since the distance between the legs weren’t equal. Because of that, we weren’t able to tighten them in place on all the sides. Another weird thing was the feet. They screw on and are meant to be flex in place but by the time you screw them in all the way, they only face one direction.
